Definitely, by making the game accessible to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch players, a new generation of gamers will have the opportunity to explore the beloved tile. However, Fans are disappointed. Chiefly because many were hoping for a complete Re-master of Red Dead Redemption. And now this port means that any such hopes would have to wait for at least a few years. Further, the price tag of $50 has been a letdown, as the beloved multiplayer mode will not be ported.
Red Dead Redemption port: Who are Double Eleven Studios?
Double Eleven Studios was founded in 2009 by Hutchinson and Matt Shepcar. Both founders previously worked as lead programmers for Rockstar. One of their early projects was the development of “LittleBigPlanet” for PlayStation Vita, revealed at E3 in 2011. They further demonstrated their ability with the remake of “Frozen Synapse Prime” for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and Windows.
