The Game Awards produced and hosted by renowned game writer Geoff Keighley began in 2014. Every year, the Game Awards celebrate the biggest successes in the video gaming business.
At the Game Awards, new details on previously revealed titles as well as the global premieres of upcoming games are also showcased.
During the Game Awards 2023, several highly anticipated video game announcements took place. Numerous announcements were made, including the long-awaited reveal of Hideo Kojima and Xbox’s OD, as well as new AAA titles like Capcom’s Monster Hunter: Wilds.

Monster Hunter Wilds
When Monster Hunter: Wilds debuts on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025, it will usher in the sixth generation of the franchise. Huge beasts, a desert environment, and flying mounts were all included in the unveiling trailer. Since Monster Hunter World launched Generation 5 back in 2018, this is the first new generation of Monster Hunter.
OD
The much anticipated Kojima Xbox project was revealed, and the guy himself revealed it on stage at The Game Awards 2023. It was also disclosed that Jordan Peele was involved with the project. The game, which stars Udo Kier, Hunter Schafer, and Sophia Lillis, is pitched as much more than just a game.
God of War Ragnarok DLC
Sony made a major impression at the Game Awards by bringing a free DLC pack for God of War Ragnarok. It’s called Valhalla, and it comes out next week. It combines God of War action with aspects of the roguelite genre. The DLC will be available for free download on December 12, 2023.
Marvel’s Blade
Marvel and Arkane Studios, the creators of Deathloop and Dishonored, are working together to create a brand-new Blade game. According to the description, it will be “a mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris.”
SEGA announces five games in development
At The Game Awards, SEGA made a significant statement that five new games—Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Crazy Taxi, and more were in production. However, no dates or other details were provided.
Embark’s The Finals
Embark’s competitive shooter, The Finals, debuted during the 2023 Game Awards and is currently playable on PC. Former Battlefield developers founded Embark, a studio whose initial project is a game show shooter in which players vie for sponsorships, cash, and notoriety.
Light No Fire
The next game by Hello Games, the creators of The Last Campfire and No Man’s Sky, has been unveiled. The game is named Light No Fire, and it looks to be an extremely ambitious online multiplayer open-world title. The game featured collaboration, building, and dragon-riding features.
Final Fantasy 16 DLC
For Final Fantasy 16, Square Enix unveiled Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide as the two DLC waves. New tale chapters from Echoes of the Fallen, which take place right before the last battle, are available now. The Rising Tide is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2024.
Rise of the Ronin
Officially, Rise of the Ronin will launch on the PlayStation 5 on March 22, 2024. The new date and a long trailer for Team Ninja’s open-world samurai game were revealed.
Skull and Bones
Skull and Bones will finally be released on February 16, 2024, following six delays.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
The creator of Jusant, Twin Mirror, Tell Me Why, Life Is Strange, and Don’t Nod, gave the first peek at its upcoming game. The premise of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, which is set to release on PC, Xbox, and PS5 next year, centers around friends who meet after twenty years apart.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
A new teaser was released for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, the previously shown Budokai Tenkaichi game that was previously only hinted at.
Fortnite Rocket Racing
Epic debuted a new trailer for Fortnite’s take on Rocket League at The Game Awards, and the game will launch tomorrow.
No Rest for the Wicked
The latest game from the creators of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, No Rest for the Wicked, is Moon Studios’ interpretation of an action role-playing game in Diablo’s style. The unveiling trailer showcased a stunning world full with monsters to battle and hidden treasure. Early access to No Rest for the Wicked will launch in Q1 2024 for PC. A full release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 will follow.
Exodus
Former BioWare creators have unveiled their newest sci-fi role-playing game. It’s being developed at Archetype Entertainment and is titled Exodus. According to the trailer, players will assume the role of the Traveler, traveling the cosmos and dodging Celestial adversaries.
Big Walk
The developers of Untitled Goose Game, House House, gave a sneak peek at their upcoming game. The spherical heroes and peculiar atmosphere of the game were showcased in the trailer. The game will launch in 2025 at some point.
Kemuri
Ikumi Nakamura announced her first solo endeavor after departing from Tango Gameworks from the stage. Kemuri is the name of her vibrant, colorful, and stunning action game.
Dead by Daylight spin-off
The Casting of Frank Stone, a brand-new narrative-based game situated in the Dead by Daylight universe, has been unveiled by Behavior Interactive and Supermassive Games.
Jurassic Park Survival
A new first-person Jurassic Park game from Saber Interactive was shown at the event. It’s the revival of an early 2000s canceled action game called Jurassic Park: Survival.
Visions of Mana
With Visions of Mana, Square Enix teased the Mana series’ future. In 2024, a brand-new Mana game called Visions of Mana is scheduled for release on the PS5, PS4, Series X|S, and PC.
Hellblade: Senua’s Saga
Hellblade 2 was given yet another in-depth look, however, the previously stated window of approximately in 2024 for release was not disclosed.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Remakes of Josef Fares’s first major game are currently in the works. Fares is the creative lead for cooperative games such as It Takes Two and A Way Out. On February 28, 2024, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Den of Wolves
The Swedish company, 10 Chambers, brought Den of Wolves, a “techno-thriller cooperative heist game,” to The Game Awards.
Black Myth: WuKong
Black Myth Wukong, an upcoming fantasy adventure game, will launch on August 20, 2024, for the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC through Steam and Epic.
Tales of Kenzera: Zau
Tales of Kenzera: Zau, a fashionable 2D sidescroller from Silver Rain Games, was unveiled by EA Originals. On April 23, 2024, the game will be available for PC, Switch, PS5, and Series X|S.
Rise of the Golden Idol
Rise of the Golden Idol, the sequel to the indie blockbuster The Case of the Golden Idol, was shown at the event. It will be available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
As Dusk Falls
On March 7, 2024, the decision-based game As Dusk Falls will be released on the PS4 and PS5. The PS5 version has touchpad controls, haptic feedback, and accessibility for audio descriptions on both the PS4 and PS5.
Last Sentinel
Lightspeed Studios and Lightspeed LA are developing an open-world game called Last Sentinel with a narrative focus. The trailer shows a glimpse of a Tokyo of the future.
Zenless Zone Zero
The PC and Mac release window for HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero is set for 2024.
Space Marine 2

Sharkmob unveiled Exoborne, a post-apocalyptic extraction shooter that takes place in the United States after harsh weather has taken control. It features PvP and PvE gameplay and is being developed for PC and consoles.

A dazzling action game called The First Berserker: Khazan is coming to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Usual June
The teaser trailer for Usual June, a cel-shaded action adventure with a spooky appearance, was unveiled by the TGAs. It is anticipated to arrive in 2025.
Pony Island 2: Panda Circus
Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, was demonstrated which shows the eerie ambiance found in Daniel Mullins’ next game, is due out soon.
Harmonium: The Musical
Xbox Game Pass will soon have the musical narrative adventure Harmonium: The Musical. A 10-year-old Filipina-American musician Melody Macato, who became Deaf at an early age, is the focus of the game.
Windblown
The developers of the critically acclaimed 2D roguelike Dead Cells, Motion Twin, are back with their next title, Windblown. With its focus on cooperative gameplay, Windblown has intense action sequences and stunning visuals reminiscent of anime.
Thrasher
Indie developer Drool unveiled Thrasher, which appears to be derived from the same blueprint as their previous title, Thumper. The unveiling trailer included a ton of action, vibrant colors, and upbeat music. The PC version will be released in 2024.
World of Goo 2
A teaser for the 2008 physics-based puzzle game World of Goo’s sequel was released. The same team behind the original game, 2D Boy and Tomorrow Corporation is behind the sequel.
Arknights: Endfield
Arknights: Endfield, an action RPG tower defense game, will be available on the PlayStation 5.
The Matchless Kung Fu
Early in The Game Awards 2023, a new trailer for The Matchless Kung Fu was released.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
A long trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is still scheduled for release in February of next year, was released.
Ready or Not
On December 13, early access to Void Interactive’s first-person shooter Ready or Not will end and the game will be launched.
Honkai Star Rail
At the 2023 Game Awards, a brand-new trailer for Honkai Star Rail was unveiled.

At the 2023 Game Awards, six years after the game’s debut on the same platform, GTFO’s last update was shown.
