Developer Mojang Studios recently concluded its annual Minecraft Live 2023 event. The event saw announcements about the latest news from the growing Minecraft franchise, the company’s plans on what players can expect from the next major Minecraft content update, recent developments with partnerships, spin-off projects, and the results of the Minecraft Mob Vote.
In addition to showing off the crafter block and the trial chamber structure, the developer also gave players the much-awaited first look at the Breeze mob. The Breeze mob is a creature who is capable of harnessing the wind.
The Breeze is found mainly in trial chambers. It is a nimble and playful mob creature. However, it is also hostile and dangerous. Players wishing to reap the full riches of a trial chamber will likely have to defeat the Breeze in the process.
When is the Breeze Mob coming to Minecraft?
Minecraft Live 2023 event dedicated a lot of its runtime to divulging details surrounding the upcoming 1.21 update. The Breeze Mob will come in the 1.21 update of the game. If Mojang Studios decides to stay true to its usual development timeline. players can expect the Breeze Mob to arrive sometime in June 2024.
As mentioned above, the Breeze Mob will be seen spawning within trial chambers in the Minecraft 1.21 update. The mob will be capable of attacking players with wind-based attacks. Similarly, they can release an AOE wind burst as well.
But all this is still the tip of the iceberg since the Breeze Mob will also have the potential to be quite a nuisance for players battling and wanting to defeat them. Additionally, they come with the ability to leap about the room. Breezes can utilize their attacks to manipulate the environment in their favor.
Their manipulation techniques involve activating buttons, trapdoors, and levers, which gives them the opportunity to change the conditions within their spawn room. It seems like players may have their hands full while taking on the Breezes as one mob.
Although just this much was revealed about the Minecraft Breeze mob keeping the finer details still a mystery, these details give a fair idea of how dangerous they can be. Fans can expect more details from Mojang soon.
From what is known so far, players will be able to break one of the trial spawners found exclusively within the trial chamber if they manage to defeat the Breeze. The unique block will scale based on how many players are present within the trial chamber. And accordingly dispenses hostile mobs and rewards. This simply means more gamers inside the chamber, and more Breezes they have to deal with.
