IShowSpeed is an American Youtuber and an internet personality. He is famous for wild reactions on his streams and for being a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been spotted at a Manchester United and a Portugal game in which he went to watch his soccer idol. However, he has still not met the Al-Nassr star, and fans all over the world are waiting for the moment. On the other hand, fans are as of now looking to get the answer about Speed’s religion. Is he a Muslim?
Apparently, not. Even though many videos on YouTube suggest that he turned to Islam, it is not so. He is a practicing Christian much like the majority of people in the USA.

Darren Watkins Jr., famously known as IShowSpeed, was born on January 21, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is just 18 years old but has amassed a huge following. He has over 16 million subscribers on YouTube. His streams and reactions are well followed by the community.
Just like his idol, Ronaldo, Speed has also shown huge respect toward the religion of Islam. It is because of this that people have speculated if he has turned to follow the religion as well. Similar queries for Ronaldo had also gone viral. However, on the advice of another YouTube star, Chunkz, Speed allegedly tried fasting during Ramadan.
IShowSpeed allegedly observed 30-day fasting during Ramadan
Chunkz, who is a Muslim, advised Speed to observe fasting during Ramadan and even gave him details about what to follow and not. After getting to know about it in detail, Speed was enthusiastic about fasting during Ramadan. He claimed he would fast all 30 days during the holy month. However, the situation took a tough turn for Speed.
Fans started to claim that Speed is lying. People did not believe he was actually observing the fast. A post on Twitter also claimed to have spotted Speed at a diner before sunset. During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims do not consume anything before sunset. Therefore, Speed being at a diner before sunset was controversial.

Speed did not take the allegations lightly and hit back at them. He said, “People keep telling me, ‘Yo Speed, you’re not fasting, you’re not doing this bro.’ I’ve been fasting since Ramadan came out. You feel me, bro?
“How the f**k you gon tell me that I’m not fasting? Worry about your own fasting. I am fasting. I haven’t eaten or drunk a damn thing yet today. I can drink in, like, the next two hours. So, don’t worry about my fasting, I am fasting. Don’t worry about my Ramadan, cause I’m doing my Ramadan. Worry about your own Ramadan,” he added.
Claims of Speed being Muslim seemed to have begun after a video of him in a mosque in Abu Dhabi was released. He was very excited about coming to a mosque for the first time and wearing traditional clothes.
