The wait for one of the year’s biggest fights is almost over! Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz goes down at the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, Texas on August 5. With some big names taking the stage on the night, the excitement is at an all-time high! With that said, let’s look at what’s in store for fans on Saturday night.
Headlining the event we of course have the stars of the show, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. The two will go head to head in a 10-round cruiserweight contest. Following his loss to Tommy Fury earlier this year, Jake has upped the stakes by calling out UFC superstar Nate Diaz. Previously, Diaz announced his free agency and is now ready to venture into the world of boxing.
In the co-main event of the evening, we have Amanda Serrano taking on Heather Hardy. The two will be facing off for the second time in a 10-round contest, for Serrano’s WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring female featherweight titles. Also on the main card are Chris Avila and Jeremy Stephens, along with Ashton Sylve vs. William Silva.
What songs will Jake Paul and Nate Diaz use for their ring walks?
Since his influencer boxing debut in 2020, Jake Paul has had a tendency to walk out to a different tune each time. For his fight against Ben Askren, Jake walked out to “Paper Planes” by M.I.A. As for some of his more recent fights, his second one against Tyron Woodley, The Problem Child walked out to the iconic “YMCA” song by Village People.
This was worlds apart from the first fight where he walked out to “Till I Die” by Machine Gun Kelly. As for his next fight against Anderson Silva, Jake walked out to “Got It on Me” by Pop Smoke. Most recently, for his fight against Tommy Fury, Jake walked out to “Outlet” by Desiigner.
Similar to Jake, Nate has also had a history of walking out to different songs each time. For his fight against Leon Edwards at UFC 263, Diaz walked out to a remix of ‘The Rain’ by DMX, ‘Used To’ by Lil Wayne ft. Drake, ‘Can’t C Me’ by Tupac, and ‘Last Ones Left’ by Tupac. For his last UFC fight against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, Nate used The Rolling Stones’ ‘Shelter Dubstep Remix’ by Zeds Dead Official.
What song will Amanda Serrano walk out to?
For her title defense against Yamileth Mercado, Amanda walked out to Pepas by Farruko, a Puerto Rican pop star. After the fight, Amanda took to her Twitter to share her excitement after Farruko uploaded a post of her walkout on his Instagram page. On the night Serrano secured the win via unanimous decision, defending all her titles in the process.
When Amanda took on Katie Taylor in a historic bout last year, she decided to try something new. As such, she walked out to ‘New York’ by Ja Rule (ft. Fat Joe, Jadakiss) mixed with her usual walkout song ‘Pepas’. However, The Real Deal decided to make yet another switch for her latest fight against Erika Cruz. On this occasion, Amanda chose to walk out to ‘City of Gods’ by Fivio Foreign, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys.
What song will Jeremy Stephens walk out to?
Another MMA fighter transitioning to boxing, Jeremy Stephens is easily one of the more renowned names on the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz card. Following his UFC stint, Lil Heathen has been fighting in the PFL and has also tried his hand at boxing against Jose Aldo at Gamebred Boxing 4.
For his last UFC fight against Mateusz Gamrot, Stephens walked out to “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘N’ Roll)” by AC/DC. Prior to that, for his fight against Calvin Kattar at UFC 249, Stephens walked out to “All Eyez On Me” by Tupac. Since information about his more recent walkout songs is not known, it will be interesting to see what he walks out to on Saturday night.
What songs will Ashton Sylve and Chris Avila use for their ring walks?
Also on the card is rising star Ashton Sylve who made quite the headlines when he took on Braulio Rodriguez. Fighting on the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva card, there was a lot of hype behind the 19-year-old final. On the night, Ashton walked out to ‘Heyy’ by Lil Baby whilst wearing a minion costume. Not only that but ‘H20’ secured the win after landing a big left hook on his opponent.

As for Chris Avila, he is another former MMA fighter and a close friend of Nate Diaz. After a disappointing MMA career, Avila seems to be turning things around, having secured wins in all 3 of his boxing outings. Although little is known about his song choices, he did walk out to “Troublesome ’96” by Tupac for his UFC 202 fight. As such, it will be interesting to see which song he picks for his fight against Jeremy Stephens.
That sums up the list of walkout songs for the fighters on the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz card. Do let us know your favorite walk-out song from the list and which fighter you are looking forward to seeing on Saturday night.
