The brothers are allowed to move within Romania, but international travel is strictly off-limits. Romanian authorities suspected that the Tate brothers would try to flee the country to visit their mother, and this would give them the charges to put them back in jail. However, that wasn’t the case, as the Tate brothers stood their ground and stayed in Romania.
The trick was caught on a recent Rumble stream where Andrew Tate showed his security footage of his main entrance where police officials can be seen gathering. Tristan Tate joined his brother on the stream and explained the situation. He later also tweeted about the situation, commenting on the mindset of Romanian authorities.
They rejected my request to see my mother in the hopes I will flee.
Fleeing means they can lock me back in jail.
After rejecting me they sent the cops to check I am home.
These are VERY sick and desperate people.
Innocent men don’t flee. https://t.co/uw6lplTRZB

Tristan Tate quoted the video clip of the stream and wrote, “They rejected my request to see my mother in the hopes I will flee. Fleeing means they can lock me back in jail. After rejecting me they sent the cops to check I am home. These are VERY sick and desperate people. Innocent men don’t flee”.
Both the Tate brothers have continued to follow the law since their move back to Romania in 2017. They are fighting their case within the boundaries of the law.
Romanian court denies Andrew Tate’s request to visit his ill mother in the UK
When the mother of Andrew and Tristan Tate suffered a heart attack, the brothers applied to court to allow them to visit their mother in the UK during her tough period. The emergency request by Tate Brothers was denied by the court, which left Andrew Tate disheartened, as per the statement of his spokesperson.
The Tate brothers are dual UK-US nationals but have been stuck in Romania to fight their charges. They have pleaded their innocence and even faced jail time from December 2022 to March 2023. After their release, they faced house arrest, which went on until June 2023.

Tate even tweeted about the situation: “Rejected. The Romanian state decided she [her mother] must be alone at Christmas if she is alive.” Andrew Tate stated in a follow-up post: “There’s no innocent until proven guilty in Romania”.
The Tate brothers have often argued that all these charges are a big controversy to silence him and take his influence away. This latest development might give the necessary fuel to his cult-like following to echo Tate’s sentiments on social media.
