Whether it’s crossover matches or fighters venturing into different forms of combat, the UFC and boxing have been contributing to each other’s expansion. One highly anticipated crossover bout this year is the clash between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis. The fight in question is due to happen this weekend in Manchester, UK, in a rare dual-main event setting.
Logan Paul initially gained fame as a YouTuber, later transitioning into boxing, and even dabbled in part-time involvement with WWE. On the other hand, Dillon Danis (2-0 in MMA), primarily known as a Jiu Jitsu champion and an MMA fighter, is notably a close friend and teammate of former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. The collision of these two superstars has garnered significant attention, and for obvious reasons.
Crazy that McGregor finally unfollowed you

As Danis has consistently targeted Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal and her romantic history to hype their fight, Paul has questioned ‘El Jefe’s’ fighting career and his friendship with Conor. Not only Logan, but fight fans are also of the opinion that things are not well between the old friends, as an X user commented, “Crazy that McGregor finally unfollowed you”.
However, this is not true, as both Conor and Dillon follow each other on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Also, Conor has regularly shown support for Danis ever since the fight with the WWE star was announced, and he even claimed that he would train the Jiu Jitsu champion for the boxing bout.
However, that could not happen as Danis recently became a father. So, it is pretty clear that the duo has no differences, and all is well between the longtime buddies.
Conor McGregor promised to show up at MISFIT Prime Card for Dillon Danis
Although the Irishman could not train Danis for his big fight on October 14, he has promised that he will be there to support him on October 14 at the MISFIT Prime Card, where Dillon and Logan will highlight the card along with KSI and Tommy Fury.
It will for sure be a big positive for Danis, as Conor is known for his energy and passion for the sport, and having him by the ringside will be an added advantage.
Even though Dillon Danis has been absent from the MMA scene for more than four years, his name continues to hold significance within the community, primarily because of his close connection with McGregor and his social media game also deserves some credit for it.
Their friendship goes back to 2016, when the former UFC double champ McGregor extended an invitation to Danis to join his training camp in preparation for the UFC 202 bout against Nate Diaz. Danis, already recognized for his impressive grappling skills, swiftly became a vital member of McGregor’s training team.
