Influencer boxing has gained some momentum in the past, allowing these so-called influencers to get in the ring. The prospect is as popular as it is lucrative, with the Misfits Boxing promotion led by KSI catering solely to these influencer fights. The biggest influencer boxer is Jake Paul, who recently offered former UFC fighter, Mike Perry, a million dollars to fight Bradley Martyn.
Martyn, another fitness influencer, gained traction on social media in recent days after challenging several professional fighters to a street fight. Whenever a pro fighter appears on his podcast, Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, he proposes a hypothetical street fight to his guests and asks their opinion on how that would transpire.
Happy to announce my Fighting Future ! To think of the man I’ll be when I accomplish the fine print 👌🏼I look forward to competition and am training to be the strongest and the fastest man on the planet ✊🏼🪽😈 ⚔️ 🛡️🔥 pic.twitter.com/XpZjBzO6ph

Most fighters dismiss Martyn’s question and ponder on his utter destruction in the scenario put forth by him. Fortunately for Martyn, he found a person on his wavelength in Jake Paul, who offered Mike Perry a million dollars to take on Martyn.
Unfortunately, that amount is laughable in the face of the BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) contract that Perry signed. He recently revealed the financials relating to the contract, which stands at a massive 8 million dollars.
“They made it really easy for me to choose them actually. They made it easy to say they were the only choice. I have to say they put about $8 million on contract,” Perry said. “I’ll just go ahead and put that out there because f**k them, they’ve got to fight me now because I’m ready to make this money.”
Under the banner of the BKFC, Perry knocked out former UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold, in April earlier this year.
Million-dollar offer by Jake Paul was accepted by Mike Perry, but Bradley Martyn was MIA
In August, when Bradley Martyn caused an uproar on social media because of his assertions, Jake Paul set forth to test him on the claims. Paul on his podcast BS w/ Jake Paul didn’t hold back, “It’s time for Bradley to either man up or shut up. And Bradley, I have seven figures for you…To fight Mike Perry in a ‘street fight’ – which is what you’re talking about.” He continued, “Mike Perry is already down, he said he’s [going to] do it. You’re bigger than him, so this goes along with your whole size advantage theory,” Paul said.
I accept @BradleyMartyn , I’m 180 but I hit like 260 brotha, accept the offer and I’ll see you in Saudi Arabia alhumdulla 💪 https://t.co/xZUaPM8Gs3

Mike Perry accepted the offer through his Instagram, but the influencer, Bradley Martyn, never responded to the said offer. This irked the combat sports fans even further, who were already skeptical of the fitness influencer. They were of the belief that size alone does not give you an advantage against a skilled fighter. His silence on the matter has been taken as a sign of cowardice.
