The ‘Blonde Bomber‘, who holds an impressive professional record of 9-1, believes that transgender people should not be stopped from playing sports, however, there should be a separate category for them. According to her, biological females cannot compete with them.

In an interview with BettingSites.co.uk., she said, “Trans people should be able to play sport and do whatever they want. But it’s about segregating women to men to trans. It’s that simple because we’re not the f*cking same. There’s a reason men don’t fight women. I don’t care if you’ve got b**bies, you were still born a man.”
The IBF Bantamweight champion has not faced a transgender athlete in her professional career. She hopes to never face one in the future.
This is, however, a sensitive topic. Many prominent names have also had their say in the controversial discussion. Although trans athletes in female sports are on the rise without a doubt.
Ebanie Bridges claims she received no backlash for her comments about transgenders in sports
Before her recent statement about trans athletes, Bridges had previously mentioned how it is “wrong” to have trans athletes in boxing. In an interview with Bitcoin Casinos in June, Bridges was asked if she would ever face a trans athlete. She responded, “No, never,” as reported by the New York Post.
She further claimed, “I think it’s wrong, especially in boxing. I think in all sport. I just think a lot of women in sports that are breaking records weren’t originally women and in a sport where you are trying to hurt the other person. You’re born (a) man. I don’t care what you say, how many hormones you’re taking, you’re still born (a) man… It’s like saying all of a sudden Mike Tyson wants to be a girl now and he goes and fights you – no way!”

In her interview with BettingSites.co.uk., she claimed that she received no backlash for her statements. She said, “Everyone’s so scared to say anything,” Bridges said. “But no matter what you say people are gonna jump and turn on you. I think the reality is – I’m right, and it’s true.
“People are obviously, scared and I think with me speaking up with the kind of person that I am, such a big name in the sport and not just in the sport but in the general world, it gives other people the OK to speak up as well.”
Bridges last competed in a professional fight in December 2022. She successfully defended her IBF female Bantamweight title against Shannon O’Connell after a victory via an eighth-round TKO.
