The worlds of boxing and MMA meet once again as former UFC fighter Nate Diaz is all set to take on YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul in a 10-round boxing match. The fight will be happening on August 5 in Dallas, Texas. As both Diaz and Paul are very popular figures in the fight world, this one is expected to be a blockbuster event.
The fight card for Diaz vs. Paul is also exciting as it features a number of thrilling match-ups. In one such match-up, Chris Avila, a long-term training partner and friend of Nate Diaz is set to challenge MMA veteran Jeremy Stephens. As per BoxRec, Avila has as many as four pro-boxing fights under his belt, and he has won the last three of them. His last fight was against Paul Bamba in April of this year. Avila secured a comfortable victory with a unanimous decision.

On the other hand, former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens has experience of only one boxing match, which was against UFC veteran Jose Aldo. His only appearance inside the boxing ring was adjudged a draw by a majority decision.
The card features another friend of Nate Diaz named Jose Aguayo, who is a Stockton native, just like the Diaz brothers. He will be up against Noel Cavazos in a welterweight contest. Cavazos is the more experienced fighter out of the two, as he has three bouts to his name, and two of them were wins. Aguayo has only fought once before and suffered a loss.
