As one of the most highly-watched cases unfolds itself, fans and supporters keep getting their hopes crushed. The Tate brothers have kept absorbing most of the internet headlines since the end of last year. However, most of it kept turning for the worse. Romanian authorities arrested Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate in December 2022 for allegedly being involved in a human trafficking and r*pe case.
In a disappointing turn of events for their fans, Andrew might have landed himself in more trouble. Recent developments suggest that Andrew might have “hacked” his way into speaking with his millionaire friends from inside the prison. It is not a secret that the Tate brothers have been leaving no stone unturned to leave Romanian cells. However, all their attempts have been in vain so far.

In one such recent attempt, per reports, Andrew used an old-school technique that helped him speak with people that aren’t on his “allowed to talk to” list. In prison, one is only allowed visitors during certain hours. Similarly, one is allowed to only speak with people that are on a list that has been agreed upon beforehand.
Andrew, however, called the people on his list and instructed them to put his millionaire friends on a conference call. Evidently, this was his attempt to help expedite the process of his and his brother’s judicial release.
But, Romanian authorities stayed a step ahead by keeping a close ear to every conversation he had on the phone. Even though the concerned officials were made aware of this “trick”, we aren’t sure what repercussions Andrew will have to face for the same.
Prison stay extended up to 180 days for Andrew Tate?
Per law, Romanian authorities can only confine the former kickboxing champion and his brother Tristan for up to 180 days. If the prosecutors fail to provide any reasonable evidence before the term ends, the court will be obliged to release the British Americans. And so far, allegedly no concrete proof has been put forward against Andrew or his brother.
Since their initial detainment, prosecutors have made a plea for the court to extend ‘Top G’ and his brother’s prison stay. Every time the Romanian courts granted such an extension, 30 new days were added to the duo’s jail time. Ever since, 3 such extensions have been granted, leading to their almost 90 days’ worth of stay so far in the Romanian cell.

As of mid-March, Romanian authorities have extended their prison stay until March 29. However, it doesn’t end here. Just before the aforementioned term expires, rumors suggest the same prosecutors will ask for a further extension. This means the Romanian courts can extend Andrew and Tristan’s stay for up to a total of 180 days.
Supporters of the social media personalities expect the brothers to appeal for a 6th time for an early release. However, knowing how the Romanian officials have been inclined to reject their previous appeals, fans don’t know what to anticipate.
