His fans are surely ready to see him in AEW after mostly serving for NJPW for 8 years. His Japanese audience has nothing but positive greetings for the NJPW wrestler. Ospreay recently posted a photo on his social media account showing the messages he has received. “If you about to crash, we will be there to support you, and if it rains on you, we will be your umbrella,” shared Ospreay.
Several fans wrote hundreds of messages for the Superstar, which even made him emotional. “Reading this note and all the messages brought me to tears in my hotel room. Thank you all for taking care of me & treating me like family.”, stated the 30-year-old.

Will Ospreay will have his final NJPW match in February
After revealing he will be working for AEW in the weeks to come, Ospreay will be entering the NJPW ring for one last time in February 2023, which seems to be his final match for the company. Ospreay’s faction, United Empire, will take on the Bullet Club inside a steel cage at NJPW’s New Beginning on February 11. This will be the first cage match in NJPW in the last 20 years.

He recently made his appearance at the New Year Dash 2024, where the two factions faced off against each other. Their match ended in a no-contest, which saw Ospreay propose another match at New Beginning, which will also be his final match in the promotion.
Will Opsreay has had a monumental run in NJPW, and it will be hard to top his accolades. With his final match approaching rapidly for the promotion, it will be interesting to see what he stores for his ultimate climax in NJPW.
