Wrestle Ops took to X to bring out the update on Adam Cole’s injury. The reports claimed that while speaking on his Twitch server, Cole revealed that he would have to undergo two ankle surgeries. The surgery would also mean that four screws and one plate would have to be inserted in his body.
“It’s the most painful injury he’s ever had & that it’ll be quite a while to make a full recovery & comeback,” wrote Wrestle Ops, addressing what Cole declared on Twitch. It has hardly been eight months since Adam Cole returned after recovering from a severe concussion. But with the high extent of his recent injury, Cole will take all the more time to make his return post-surgery.

Adam Cole’s recent gruesome injury took place on September 20 at the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Despite him not being on the event’s card, he decided to join his tag team partner MJF on the ringside. However, before he could reach the ring successfully, he fell down from the ramp.
