WWE “Night of Champions” PLE was announced months ago as the event to take place in Saudi Arabia. Previously the Saudi event was going to be named “King and Queen of the Ring”. However, due to undisclosed reasons, the event was renamed “Night of Champions”. The show is advertised as the event where all the main roster titles will be defended.

Similar to the previous Saudi shows, WWE seems to be pulling out all the stops to make the event bigger and better. As of now, several title matches have been announced that are set to feature at “Night of Champions”. Furthermore, there are a couple of non-title matches on the card as well. Let’s take a look at the announced match card:
Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. AJ Styles: WWE World Heavyweight Championship
WWE conducted a tournament for the newly unveiled World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles paved their way to the finals and are in contention to become the new world champion.
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens(C): WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship
On SmackDown, Roman Reigns shocked everyone by announcing that he and Solo Sikoa will be going for the tag titles. The Tribal chief also embarrassed The Usos and promised to bring back the titles to The Bloodline.
Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes
After a sneaky win over The Beast Incarnate, Cody Rhodes thought he was done with Brock Lesnar. However, Lesnar reignited the feud, challenging The American Nightmare to a rematch at “Night of Champions”.
Apart from these headlining matches, more matches have recently been announced for the event:
Gunther(C) vs. Mustafa Ali: Intercontinental Championship
Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus
Bianca Belair(C) vs. Asuka: WWE Raw Women’s Championship
