A popular WWE Superstar had a message for Rhea Ripley’s boyfriend Buddy Matthews. The star is the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
Ever since he became The Visionary and The Revolutionary, Rollins has been universally loved by fans. So much so, that wherever in the world he makes his entrance, the crowd sings along to his theme song. Furthermore, Seth Rollins also does his part to make people laugh with his entertaining character, such as what he did with Rhea Ripley.
Last week on Raw, The Visionary side hugged Rhea Ripley during a tag team match against The Judgment Day. Actually, he tried to recreate an iconic moment where Shawn Michaels accidentally hugged Melina on RAW in 2006. Following the funny moment, Rollins reflected on the moment on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump. He also disclosed the thought behind the entertaining moment.
“You know, I saw an opening, I had to take it. I don’t know what else to tell ya. It was right there for the picking. And it made for a good television and a lot of fun. I hope Rhea wasn’t too offended. Hope little Dom-Dom wasn’t too offended. I hope my old protege, Murphy wasn’t too offended, I don’t know, I’m just pissing everybody off I guess [laughs],” Rollins stated.
Considering his statement, the new World Heavyweight Champion was being himself as always. Moreover, it also took the internet by storm and fans are absolutely loving the glimpse. Furthermore, The Visionary also kinda broke kayfabe by mentioning Ripley’s real-life boyfriend, Buddy Matthews, by referring him to his WWE name “Murphy”.
Rhea Ripley issues a warning to Seth Rollins for what he did
Following the World title win, Seth Rollins opened Raw to address his victory. However, he was eventually interrupted by his Night of Champions opponent, AJ Styles. Later, they both were greeted by The Judgment Day members and the interaction eventually turned into a tag team main event match. Rollins along with AJ Styles was set to take on Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
During the main event, the funny moment between Ripey and Rollins took place. However, it seems it was not so funny for The Eradicator. After Raw went off the air, the SmackDown women’s champion took to Twitter to issue a warning for the World Heavyweight Champion.

Rhea Ripley reacted to a tweet that featured the pose between her and Seth Rollins. The Eradicator tweeted, “You will regret this,” clearly referring to Rollins. Furthermore, the tweet could be an indication of a potential feud between The Visionary and The Judgment Day. Meanwhile, WWE Universe could witness the follow-up of the moment between Rollins and Ripley on Raw this Monday.
