WWE star Matt Riddle is among the most promising talents in the Triple H-led promotion’s recent history. The Original Bro is best known for his tag team run with Randy Orton, but Matt has recently been in the headlines due to a serious controversy.
As revealed by Riddle through a social media post, the pro wrestling star was “sexually assaulted” at the JFK Airport in New York City. Sharing the whole story on September 10, Matt claimed that even though he told him “no”, a Port Authority official touched him inappropriately.
The former Tag Champion said, “Nothing like being sexually assaulted by an officer and harassed at the jfk airport, no means no and just because I’m nice doesn’t mean yes!!! A**hole!!! Definitely one of the most uncomfortable travel days I’ve ever had thanks NYC you’re so progressive and accepting!” (Via: Wrestling Inc)

The 37-year-old not only disclosed this entire incident in front of his audience but also shared a photo of the alleged officer through a tweet. The picture started surfacing heavily as soon as the WWE star shared it, but it has now been deleted.
Looking at the seriousness of these allegations, it seems that there’s definitely going to be a deep investigation into this whole matter. It remains to be seen what the end result of this investigation will be and who’ll be found at fault at the end of it.
Matt Riddle’s allegation triggers an internal investigation
The Original Bro’s allegation of getting assaulted at JFK airport has triggered the launch of an internal investigation. Even though the airport officials were shocked by Riddle’s claims of being harassed, the allegations have been taken seriously, and a probe has been initiated.
It has been reported that the law enforcement department has claimed that Port Authority officers received a call for a person who was deplaning. When the officials went to meet him in the terminal, it turned out to be Matt Riddle. The 37-year-old was heavily intoxicated and tried to use his status as a WWE star to avoid more trouble.

At the end, Randy Orton‘s former partner was apologetic about his behaviour, and that’s why no police report was filed about the incident. However, Matt’s claim about being sexually assaulted is a completely different story from what Port Authority figure sources have disclosed, and it has created a lot of uncertainty about the entire incident.
Now that an internal probe is being conducted, it seems that the truth about Riddle’s sexual assault claim will be out very soon. It currently remains to be seen how this whole saga will be handled and if the Triple H-led promotion’s star’s accusation against the authority figure will come out to be true or not.
