The WrestleMania fever hardly got off the WWE Universe’s mind when Vince McMahon gave a hot topic to talk about. UFC’s parent company – Endeavor has signed an agreement with the WWE to unify and build a new company. Endeavor claims, “Together, UFC and WWE will have global reach, impressive scale and omnichannel distribution.” With this being said, did Vince McMahon sell his ownership of WWE?
As per the deal, Endeavor would be entitled to 51% of the interest of the new company while the already existing WWE shareholders would be given the remaining 49% of the company. Apart from this, the transactions held UFC at a value of $12.1 billion and WWE at $9.3 billion. Vince McMahon is the leading shareholder of WWE and he is skilled enough to foresee where the company would head.
“Given the incredible work that Ari and Endeavor have done to grow the UFC brand – nearly doubling its revenue over the past seven years – and the immense success we’ve already had in partnering with their team on a number of ventures, I believe that this is without a doubt the best outcome for our shareholders and other stakeholders,” said Vince McMahon aiming at a big profit situation.
Vince McMahon would receive a massive boost in his net worth
UFC has been working extremely well in its workings. After joining hands with WWE, the company is expected to scale up even more. While this is beneficial to the company, it would have a direct impact on the net worth of Vince McMahon. Before the deal was signed, Vince McMahon’s net worth lay at $3 billion.
With him aligning with Endeavor, Vince McMahon would receive a further boost in his wealth. With his excellent business mindset, the 77-year-old is smart enough to plan out things and look out for better opportunities to bring more profit for himself. By the end of the year, if the company is officialized, Vince’s net worth is expected to cross the $3.5 billion mark.
What will be Vince McMahon’s role in the new company?
The WWE Universe has been curious to know what role would Vince McMahon join in the new company. Talking to CNBC, McMahon put an end to this quest. He was asked if he would hold the same place in the merger as he did in WWE which is the company’s creative.

Vince had a very ambiguous reply to the question and said, “Yes and no. On a higher level, yes. In the weeds, which I always loved to get in the weeds in the past, no. Can’t do that.” However, it is expected that he would continue to be the Executive Chairman of the resultant company in his current role with the WWE.
