Margot Robbie and John Cena starring movie – ‘Barbie’ has worked wonders globally within a week of its release as per reports. With a whopping $380 million box office collection in the opening 5 days itself, the ‘Barbie Land’ is now found eligible to have its sequel. Ynon Kreiz, the CEO of Mattel, is on his way to creating a Mattel Cinematic Universe and Barbie remains one of his top picks.
An exclusive report by Variety reports that there are 14 movies that are under work including Polly Pocket and Thomas and Friends. “It’s a very rich universe… It’s a very broad and very elastic brand, in terms of opportunities,” said Kreiz speaking about the doors that Barbie would open for them to step into the mainstream.
The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has already had a very strong hold in the entertainment industry. Greta Gerwig doesn’t have plans for a sequel as of now. It is merely a sparked thought which puts John Cena under the hammer to play a merman again. However, the chances of this seem to be extremely bleak since the WWE fame would have bigger Hollywood projects coming for him.
John Cena’s iconic Peacemaker may start with the works of its sequel anytime soon. After much delay, James Gunn‘s primary focus remains on Superman following which the John Cena starring sequel would prepare for its release. However, if it happens, John Cena would mark his debut in the upcoming MCU (Mattel Cinematic Universe).

On the set of the Happy and Sad podcast, John Cena revealed the roles that he had missed. “I can’t tell you how many superhero roles I’ve been rejected for. Shazam is certainly one. There was a brief try at the Deadpool universe, rejection,” said the Leader of Cenation.
However, it doesn’t matter how many rejections came his way, destiny had other plans for him. John was chosen as the man to play the Peacemaker. Not only did the project do great but also gave a new identity to John Cena among the entertainment enthusiasts.
