Maryse, a former two-time Women’s Champion in the WWE, recently posted an awful and startling tale on her Instagram page. She disclosed that she had been experiencing serious abdominal problems, such as distention and swelling, in addition to several other symptoms like exhaustion.
Maryse has revealed that she is scheduled for total hysterectomy surgery next month as she’s been battling a diagnosis of Serous Borderline Tumors, a very rare pre-cancer of the ovaries.

Maryse also reported having gastrointestinal problems. She sought treatment from multiple doctors but was unable to get a correct diagnosis for her ailment. Maryse was told she did not have endometriosis disease as first thought after having a battery of tests. Rather, she was identified as having serous borderline tumors, an uncommon ovarian precancerous ailment.

If this illness developed into cancer, the prognosis was dire, and the patient’s chances of survival were only one year. Fans were certainly heartbroken and devastated to see Maryse in this condition. Along with the fans, it is obvious that Miz and Maryse have also been affected by the turn of events.
Maryse is filled with positivity ahead of her surgery
For someone about to undergo surgery, one can be terrified a lot. It doesn’t seem to be the case for Maryse, as she is ready to face everything. While talking about her current situation, Miz’s better half talked about a hysterectomy surgery scheduled for her in four weeks. The surgery will remove her uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, and omentum and will be replaced by abdominal lymph nodes for staging.
With such a huge task ahead of her in which her life is at risk, she is confident and positive about the whole outcome. “I’m remaining positive and determined to beat this thing,” stated Maryse. She further added, “There is only one option and it’s winning this battle! As a mom of two young daughters, I have too.” Maryse also urged everyone to give women’s healthcare a lot of importance.

“Women get so conditioned to believe that is it normal to suffer, most often in silence. Told to stop being a crybaby. That it must be hormonal imbalances, just anxiety, or just all in your head,” stated the former Women’s champion. She further stated that these changes are not normal and require instant medical attention. Maryse thanked everyone on this journey, including her doctor.
Maryse acknowledged her appreciation to Los Angeles-based OB-GYN Dr. Thais Aliabadi, who was important in her diagnosis and course of care. Maryse’s worries were carefully heard by Dr. Aliabadi, who also supported more research to determine the underlying source of her ailments. Maryse ultimately had laparoscopic surgery performed by Dr. Aliabadi, who had originally suspected Endometriosis.

I couldn’t be more blessed to have crossed paths in life with this brilliant, uber-talented, patient, attentive, and genuinely caring woman!”, stated Mrs Mizanin. Remembering her dad, she stated, “I have an angel over my shoulder protecting me, THANK YOU DAD.”
Even though Maryse faces the terrifying possibility of having her uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and more removed during a hysterectomy, she is resolute in battling the illness and perseveres through her therapy. Maryse’s story serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking medical attention for unusual symptoms and persisting in advocating for one’s health.

The WWE Universe is saddened after the news of Maryse breaking out which has left everyone devastated. Along with the fans, several superstars have also shared their feelings about her condition. Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, and many other superstars expressed their concerns. Along with WWE Superstars, many superstars from AEW and independent wrestling promotions also expressed their concerns.
AEW Superstars like Tay Melo, Justin Roberts, and Maria Kanellis sent their wishes to the 41-year-old. AEW-bound Mercedes Mone also sent her love to Maryse, stating, “Love You!
