Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest names in the pro wrestling world as well as in Hollywood. His charisma and solid physique have made him a fan favorite over the span of the last two decades. Although Dwayne is currently 51 years old, he still loves going to the gym as he used to do in his younger days.
Thus, it’s hard to believe that a man like Dwayne Johnson would have been self-conscious about his physical appearance. For that, the eight-time WWE Champion even had surgery during his time in WWE.

Dr Anthony Youn, who is a plastic surgery specialist in Troy, Michigan took to TikTok to talk about the Baywatch star. He said that The Rock reportedly had surgery in 2005 to reduce gynecomastia.
The doctor also stated that the condition roughly affects ‘70% of adolescent boys’ and ‘90% of the time, it goes away on its own without surgery’. Dwayne Johnson also once told The Parker Center for Plastic Surgery about the procedure.
“It was an aesthetic thing. I went in and showed the doctor, and he said, ‘Are you crazy?’ I was walking around with my shirt off all the time, so I had it done,” The Rock said.
However, the condition is not as complex as it looks because, lately, it has become more common. The causes behind the condition can be hormone imbalance, obesity, puberty, aging, medication, alcohol misuse, or even illegal drugs like cannabis or anabolic steroids.
When was the last time the WWE Universe got to witness Dwayne Johnson in the ring?
The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment made his last appearance in WWE in October 2019. Dwayne Johnson joined Blue Brand where he indulged in a promo with then RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and King of the Ring winner, Baron Corbin.
After a war of words between the superstars, The Rock and Becky Lynch made an alliance to humble King Corbin. The Brahma Bull got the audience fired up with People’s Elbow and Rock Bottom, while Becky Lynch also used the Diving Legdrop.
Since then, the People’s Champion has been out of pro wrestling. Even after being heavily rumored for a return, Dwayne Johnson coming back in the ring and showing his moves seems like a far cry. However, the WWE Universe will keep rooting for his return until he closes all the doors to a potential comeback.
