From classic in-ring performances to the conclusion of spectacular storytelling, The Show of Shows provides it all. In addition to this, the PLE also gives fans tonnes of surprises, as the company does its best to make WrestleManias extra special. In this regard, the stage also plays a vital role.

Continuing this trend, recent rumors have claimed that the organization is thinking about doing something out of the box for WrestleMania 40’s stage. As WWE probably looks forward to doing something crazy for the design of this year’s event, let’s take a look at 3 WrestleMania stages if all time that’ll absolutely blow your mind.
WrestleMania 29
Held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, WrestleMania 29 had one of the best stages in the history of The Showcase of the Immortals. An event that was headlined by the rematch of John Cena vs. The Rock, this edition of the show was truly memorable, and the stage made it even more special.
As a sort of tribute to the host city as well as “The Big Apple,” there was a massive replica of the Statue Of Liberty above the ring, which was absolutely crazy. Moreover, the stage itself was a sprawling replica of the Brooklyn Bridge, which added to the significance of the presentation by WWE.
In addition to this, WrestleMania 29 also had a huge Empire State Building replica, and the fireworks that were bursting above the arena only added to the magnificence. All in all, it’s safe to say that the kind of work the Triple H-led promotion did to make this show a memorable one did wonders, as it turned out to be fantastic.
WrestleMania 31
The 2015 edition of WrestleMania is mostly remembered for Seth Rollins’ historic cash-in to win the WWE Championship during Roman Reigns’ match with Brock Lesnar. But a lot of fans also remember the event for the great stage it had. WrestleMania 31 featured a grand stage whose focal point was the play button, which was truly a spectacular sight.
Even though the idea was inspired by something the Stamford-based promotion had already used in the past, the overall implementation in 2015 was better. It’s true that it was just a huge staging area that had the “play button” as its centerpiece. But the big screen of Levi’s Stadium and the presentation made it sensational.
It was the combination of a daytime Mania and the use of red coloring on the stage that helped it stand out from the rest. In addition to all this, the four towering posts surrounding the ring also grandiosed the event WrestleMania 31 was. Moreover, the “Heist of the Century” also played a major role in leaving an impact on WWE fans.
WrestleMania 33
Last but not least on this list of the three craziest stages of The Show of Shows is WrestleMania 33. In fact, it was a kind of stage that’s really hard to topple for the Stamford-based promotion in the future. Dubbed by WWE as “The Ultimate Thrill Ride,” the 2017 show had one of the best stages in the history of pro wrestling.
Having a giant ring above the ring may sound stupid, but that’s what this special event had, and it looked stunning. In addition to this, the huge globe, golden arch tunnel, and eye-catching amusement park touch made the overall presentation even more beautiful. The neon roller coaster looped around a Universal Studios-inspired WrestleMania sign was a sight to remember for fans.
The ramp was also sensational, and WWE officially debuted the stage through a YouTube video featuring The New Day. All in all, the WrestleMania 33 stage was arguably the best in the history of the event. But can the Triple H-led promotion do something even better? It’ll be interesting to see if anything like this happens in any upcoming edition of The Showcase of the Immortals.
