Victor Wembanyama is now officially a part of the greatest basketball league in the world, the NBA. The 7-foot-4-inch phenom was selected first overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2023 NBA Draft with absolutely no hesitation.
He follows in the footsteps of French basketball great Tony Parker, who Wembanyama idolized growing up. He also potentially joins the hall of legendary big men who played for the Spurs such as David Robinson and Tim Duncan.
It was an emotional moment for Victor as it is for any rookie, stepping into the gateway that holds their dreams for the future, but also a realization of the hard work they have put in, during the last how many ever years.
Wembanyama was joined by his brother Oscar Wembanyama, his mother and father as well as his sister Eve Wembanyama who has been making waves on social media ever since the draft with fans itching to know more about Victor’s well-endowed sibling.
Eve Wembanyama was a basketball player for the LDLC ASVEL Feminin in France

Eve even helped France win the bronze medal in the FIBA-U16 Women’s European Championship in 2016.
