David Benavidez and Jermall Charlo brawl

David Benavidez and Jermall Charlo got into an ugly confrontation ringside during Errol Spence Jr. vs Yordenis Ugas inside AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Benavidez reveals the brawl started after Charlo’s misdemeanor with his father Jose Benavidez. Showtime Sports president Stephen Espinoza could be seen restraining Charlo, as both the boxers almost came to blows ringside during Spence Jr. vs Ugas.

Both Benavidez and Charlo have been feuding for quite some time now, and have shared words on social media on various occasions in the past. This time was no different, as Charlo shared his thoughts on the possibility of fighting Benavidez and left the doors open to defend his WBC welterweight gold. Charlo is set to defend his WBC middleweight strap against Maciej Sulecki on June 18.

Meanwhile, David Benavidez fights later next month, taking on David Lemieux for the vacant WBC interim super-middleweight title.

Both Charlo and Benavidez remain undefeated inside the ring. A scrap between the two could arguably emerge as one of the most entertaining bouts in super-middleweight history. Moreover, it could open the possibility of an undisputed clash in the super-middleweight division for the fifth belt with Canelo Alvarez.

Errol Spence Jr. calls out Terence Crawford following win over Yordenis Ugas

Errol Spence Jr. unleashes a beating on Yordenis Ugas to secure the WBA (Super) middleweight title. Spence was able to dominate Ugas from the very start. Spence’s uppercuts and jabs proved to be too much for Ugas, who succumbed to the methodical beatdown from Spence Jr.

With the victory, Spence Jr. now holds the WBC and IBF welterweight titles, along with WBA (Super) middleweight gold. Spence Jr. called out Terence Crawford following the bout. Needless to say, he will look to unify the welterweight division and become the fourth undisputed boxing champion of the modern era.

Meanwhile, Yordenis Ugas, who will go down in history as the last boxer to share the ring with Manny Pacquiao, showed great heart and grit against one of the pound-for-pound best in boxing, Errol Spence Jr.
