They eventually got engaged in 2015 and walked down the aisle in 2016. Interestingly, they got married thrice. The first was a secret, second one was an intimate, formal ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Lastly, the third one was a 1920s-themed.
Furthermore, while Michael is a celebrated athlete worldwide, Nicole has noteworthy achievements throughout her career. She started competing in pageants when she was just 17 years old. Her journey began when she saw a promotional ad for Miss California Teenager in the newspaper. Her main purpose for joining this was to win the scholarship prize so that she could transfer from Moorpark College to the University of Southern California.
She took the title of first runner-up home and competed in countless pageants after that. Nicole won Miss California USA in 2010 and left an everlasting impact. For her education, she was able to get the transfer and she graduated from the University of Southern California. Their first son, Boomer Robert Phelps, was born in 2016 just before the couple had their second wedding ceremony. The third child in the Phelps family, Maverick Nicholas Phelps, was born in 2019. Shortly after this, the renowned swimmer spoke about how his wife Nicole feels as the only woman in the house. He revealed, “I think Nicole said something along the lines of, like, ‘I’m so lucky to have a house full of boys and no girls.” Furthermore, Michael said to his wife that she is the girl in the house. “So we’ve been saying that and it’s true, she’s the queen,” he added.

Recently, the couple announced the birth of their fourth son, Nico Michael Phelps. They took to their Instagram account to share a beautiful picture. The caption read, “We’re so blessed to be given a 4th child. We’re now a family of 6!” Furthermore, their fans were ecstatic upon hearing this news and filled the comment section with blessings and congratulations.
