Rob Font was born on June 25, 1987, in Leominster, Massachusetts, United States. He is an American professional mixed martial artist and as of now, he is competing in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Font began his amateur training in 2009 and started fighting professionally in 2011. He had conjured up a 3-1 record in amateur fighting. He made his professional debut on December 3, 2011, at Premier FC 7 against Matt Tuthill. Font won the bout via an armbar submission. However, Font lost his very next professional bout against Desmond Green on April 1, 2012, via a unanimous decision.
Font went on to keep an undefeated streak for the next four years. He fought in the CES MMA for the first time in February 2013. He won the bout against Saul Almeida via a unanimous decision. Font was the featherweight champion in CES MMA. After having a five-match win streak in the CES MMA, he made his UFC debut on July 5, 2014. He fought against George Roop at UFC 175 and won the match via KO (punches).

A native of Central Massachusetts, Font is of Puerto Rican descent. According to reports, his parents were military-based and thus, they met that way. As for his siblings, Font is a middle child. He has an older sister and a younger brother.
The early days of Font’s life were full of shifting from one place to another. And due to being military-based, his father used to mostly be away from home. It was usually just him, his mother, and his siblings at home.
According to Player Bio, “life took them [Font and his family] to Japan, Malaysia, South Carolina, Virginia, New York, Louisiana, and Florida due to the long hours of duty and placement.” However, as Font spent most of his life in Tampa, he considers his hometown to be Tampa.
As of now, Font is about to complete nine years of fighting in the UFC. After making his debut in July 2014, Font fought again in the UFC in January 2016. He fought Joey Gomez and won via TKO (punches). Finally, in May 2016, his 11-match winning streak came to end as he was defeated by John Linekar. His record at the time was 12-2.
However, since then, Font has fought 11 times and won seven times while losing four. He has lost his last two bouts in the UFC. On December 4, 2021, Font lost against Jose Aldo via a unanimous decision. Later, he lost to Marlon Vera on April 30, 2022. This loss made his record 19-6.
