Alexander Volkov and Tom Aspinall will lock heads in the main event of the UFC London which will be taking place at the O2 Arena. In the main card, UFC have placed a massive Women’s Flyweight fight, where Molly McCann will be taking on Luana Carolina.
Molly McCann enters this matchup after an unanimous decision victory against Ji Yeon Kim back in September of last year. This snapped her previous two fight skid dating back to July of 2020. McCann’s fighting resume shows that she has four wins by knockout and seven by decision.
Luana Carolina is seeking a third straight victory after recently winning by unanimous decision against Lupita Godinez back in October of last year. The two fight streak is good to see after she lost by a first round submission to Ariane Lipski back in 2020.

Molly McCann vs Luana Carolina Fight Breakdown and Prediction
If this fight remained on the feet the entire time, then the edge might go to Luana Carolina. Nevertheless, Luana Carolina has looked crisp in her decision victories, even though there has not been a tremendous amount of striking involved.
As far as McCann is concerned, she could be on the winning side if she is able to secure a combination of takedowns and then chop her opponent with aggressive striking. McCann’s blend of high-volume boxing and developing wrestling should give Carolina all sorts of issues.
Seeing that Carolina has good takedown defense, we may not see McCann effectively land a takedown. However, McCann should do just fine on the feet especially considering that she just defeated a similar opponent in Ji Yeon Kim, who had a 10 inch reach advantage.
