Paddy Pimblett has become a villain from a hero in such a short period of time. From his “racist” remarks on Ilia Topuria to his reaction after seemingly losing against Jared Gordon back at UFC 282, it seems like nothing is going in Pimblett’s favor. UFC judge Doughlas Crosby earned the wrath of UFC fans after his “poor” scorecards, with MMA fans slamming the UFC and Dana White for continued controversial decisions.

So it was no wonder that when the UFC put out their UFC 282 slow-motion video on YouTube, they did not shy away from putting one of their brightest PPV prospect eating a solid right hand on the thumbnail. “They know that fraud lost,” a user commented. Earlier, fans and fighters alike alleged that the promotion had a role to play in the controversial decision.
Paddy Pimblett on UFC 282 slow motion video receives wild reactions from UFC fans
It won’t be wrong to say that the UFC had a lot of options. A thumbnail featuring Paddy Pimblett landing a powerful shot on Jared Gordon would have done the trick as well. Meanwhile, Darren Till, Jan Blachowicz, and Ilia Topuria were also exciting options. On the contract, the promotion decided to put arguably one of the biggest stars today, and it’s certainly not speaking well about his UFC run.

The video further exposes Paddy Pimblett’s fighting style. Yes, fans have compared his rise to Conor McGregor, but the British fighter is nowhere close to McGregor in terms of his fighting style. Pimblett doesn’t only look slow against Jared Gordon, but his lack of defense during exchanges is quite evident.
Gordon is not a power puncher and has mostly relied on his grappling skills over the course of his mixed martial arts career. However, the fact that he was able to stand on his feet and actually land the much bigger shots and more occasionally speaks very poorly of Pimblett’s striking skills.
they’re making it up to us for that robbery

UFC fans were certainly delighted with the thumbnail for UFC 282 slow-motion video on YouTube, crediting the promotion for listening to the fans at least through this medium.
