Amidst the feud between Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier, Michael Bisping recently sent a warning to the Notorious. After McGregor called out Cormier for getting drunk before commentating at UFC 264, Bisping warned McGregor not to mess with Daniel Cormier.
In his podcast, Michael Bisping stated: “I’m just gonna say this: be careful what you wish for, careful who you’re picking fights with. I’m not disrespecting Conor McGregor, but I don’t care what kind of McGregor it is, whether it is the double champ Conor McGregor… DC (Daniel Cormier) is gonna fu****g pull you limb from limb. He can do it one-handed, he can do it with one eye, two eyes, no eyes, he can do it after (drinking) 25 Modelos. That ain’t a fight. That is murder. That is assault. Somebody call the cops.”
Well, it did not take long for McGregor to respond to The Count. In a recent QnA with fans on Twitter, Conor McGregor fired back at Bisping and stated:
“Bisping is a nobody on Sirius XM. Rushed back to competition after being dropped/strangled and then shotgun slept by Gastelum’s left hand. Devastating. Even though I collect commissions on all his fights, I said to the team pull the gast fight. I knew it was coming.”
“But hey, 100k!50k off the top of each fight. I used to say “yoink” every time it hit the account.”
It must be noted that Michael Bisping defended the UFC middleweight title against Georges St-Pierre. Unfortunately, he got knocked down and submitted by GSP in round 3. Bisping would get back into the octagon after the loss to GSP to fight an up and comer in Kelvin Gastelum.
This was a short notice fight for Michael Bisping and he has admitted that he was not 100% going into the fight. And he paid the price for it dearly as he got knocked out by Gastelum in round 1.
Daniel Cormier’s Warning to Conor McGregor
The Conor McGregor– Daniel Cormier feud began when McGregor insulted Khabib Nurmagomedov’s late father with the tweet “COVID is good and father is evil”. Though this feud is completely unnecessary it has gathered the attention of MMA fans.
Daniel Cormier has even advised McGregor to focus on the guys who are beating him instead of feuding with him on social media. He even asked McGregor to “keep the same energy” next time they meet backstage.
Though Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier have been very respectful to each other it would be intriguing to see how these two UFC legends react when they meet each other backstage once again.
