Emerging welterweight sensation Ian Garry finds himself in conflict with various fellow UFC fighters as he approaches his highly anticipated bout against Vicente Luque at UFC 296 on December 16, 2023. In recent months, Garry has been engaged in a feud with Geoff Neal, his originally scheduled opponent for UFC 292 in August 2023.
In July 2023, the Irish fighter took a jab at Neal by sporting a T-shirt featuring the American fighter’s mugshot. This shirt prominently displayed Garry’s nickname, ‘The Future,’ beneath Neal’s mugshot. Furthermore, the Geoff Neal T-shirt became available for purchase on Garry’s Instagram store.
In a recent clip, Garry shared that it was his wife’s idea to print and sell the Geoff Neal Mugshot t-shirts. Now, UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has shared his perspective on their situation by posting a tweet in which he referred to the English presenter as a “succubus” while humorously commenting on the UFC welterweight contender.
Yep………. The succubus doing her demon work….. Idk how the MMA community let this BS slide https://t.co/iEVlJ9uQz3

Strickland wrote that he was surprised at how the MMA community did not have a problem with it. “Yep, the succubus is doing her demon work. Idk how the MMA community let this BS slide.” tweeted the new middleweight champion.
For those unaware, the mugshot of Geoff Neal used by Ian Garry on the T-shirt was from Neal’s arrest on Thanksgiving in 2021. According to a document obtained from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office by MMA Junkie, it was around 3:47 a.m. on November 25, 2021, that the Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Neal.
Moreover, the arrest on Thanksgiving Day was based on two misdemeanor charges—driving under the influence (DUI) and unlawful possession of a weapon. Neal, also known as ‘Handz of Steel,’ was subsequently placed in the Collin County Jail in McKinney, Texas.
Sean Strickland explains why he is targeting Ian Garry’s wife
It appears that Sean Strickland has no plans to cease his online criticisms of Ian Garry and Layla Anna-Lee anytime soon. The UFC middleweight champion recently criticized the Irishman for threatening him with legal action and reiterated his derogatory remarks from earlier in the week.
I want to be clear….. I didn’t bring Ian’s predator into this conversation…. He did, when you let her design that shirt of Geof Neil’s mug shot you did.. Be a man shut her up and put her in the kitchen. Act like a bitch get treated like a bitch..

Additionally, for those unaware, Garry became the subject of online trolling after it was revealed that his wife authored a book titled ‘How to Be a WAG.‘ The book provides guidance to females on establishing relationships with famous professional athletes.
“I want to be clear… I didn’t bring Ian’s predator into this conversation. He did. When you let her design that shirt of Geof Neil’s mug shot, you did. Be a man, shut her up, and put her in the kitchen. Act like a b**ch and get treated like a b**ch.” wrote ‘Tarzan‘
So, Strickland has now given an explanation about why he is attacking a fighter’s wife, which is not a common practice as it is kind of an unsaid rule that one does not involve the spouse of a rival in trash-talking in MMA. Strickland is scheduled to face Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 next year, and his middleweight title will be on the line.
