UFC Middleweight Champion, Sean Strickland is a very tough individual. Furthermore, he has the ability to mentally break his adversary through his trash-talking and defense-heavy fighting style. Recently, Sean called out former Navy SEAL, David Goggins for a sparring session. Goggins is known to be one of the toughest men alive due to his unbreakable mental fortitude.
Furthermore, he has completed the Navy SEALs’ grueling Hell Week routine three times. In the callout, Sean Strickland mentioned that he wants to see if he can physically and mentally break Goggins in 15 minutes. Recently, an Instagram account by the name of ‘Psychoboxing’ dropped a video related to this topic.

The video with the caption, “Who do you think will win?” showcases some of the footage of both Strickland and Goggins. Furthermore, in the video, they called Sean “stupid” for thinking he could beat David Goggins. However, Strickland showed zero respect in his response to the video in the comments section.
“I’ll put a little bell on the top of the cage, he can ring when he quits,” commented Sean. David Goggins has yet to respond to this callout from the UFC Middleweight Champion. Recently, he trained UFC legend Tony Ferguson for his upcoming match against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296. It will be interesting to see how Goggins would do in a sparring session with Strickland.
UFC fighter claims that Sean Strickland would make David Goggins quit in a single round
Sean Strickland is pretty confident that he has the ability to make David Goggins quit. Furthermore, a popular UFC Featherweight is in agreement with Strickland on this topic. Sean’s fellow Xtreme Couture colleague, Cody Stamann, believes that it will take just a single round for the ‘Tarzan’ to make Goggins quit.
Stamann shared the clip by ‘Psychoboxing’ on his Instagram story with a hilarious caption. “I know guys that fight at 125 that would make Goggins quit in 15 minutes or less, Sean Strickland can do it in a round,” said Cody. He believes that even some of the top UFC flyweights can be a problem for David Goggins.
Furthermore, Sean Strickland re-shared Stamann’s story and again said that he would put a bell in the cage, which David Goggins can ring when he taps. While Goggins does not have any mixed martial arts experience, he was in the military, and he knows how to deal with adversity.
