Nate Diaz just trolled Justin Gaethje on Instagram! The younger Diaz brother mocked Gaethje for his comments regarding the upcoming 155lbs championship fight.
Justin Gaethje will step inside the Octagon at UFC 274 to face the Lightweight Champion, Charles Oliveira. Ahead of the bout, Gaethje recently said that Oliveira will have an incredibly hard time getting a finish in the fight. He even referenced his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov as an example.
“[Charles Oliveira] is gonna have to walk through hell like Khabib did…. He better be praying everyday he gets me to the ground.”
But Nate Diaz was not terribly impressed by it. The above-mentioned fight between Gaethje and the former champ Khabib ended with a triangle which put Justin to sleep. Reminding him of that, Nate Diaz wrote on Instagram,
“Bruh got triangle choke from the mount, what he talking about?”

Nate Diaz is famous for his dry sense of humour and unconventional trash talk. His recent exchanges with Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier on social media platforms were pretty entertaining from fans’ point of view. Hence, it was not surprising at all to see him taking potshots at Justin Gaethje either. But, never the one to back down, the 33-year-old responded to Diaz as well. Taking to Twitter, He wrote,
I ain’t your bruh you jealous bitch @NateDiaz209

Who will Nate Diaz fight next?
Nate Diaz last competed at UFC 263 where he lost to Leon Edwards. As a matter of fact, he has not had a consistent record in the organization for a number of years now. Diaz had 5 fights in the last 6 years. To put things into perspective, Khamzat Chimaev has had a similar number of fights in just 2 years.
I been trying to fight everybody and no go what’s the hold up ufc ???????????? ?

So what does the future hold for the Stockton native? The 37-year-old does not have any scheduled fights. He was also involved in a very public negotiation with the UFC. Although both Dustin Poirier and Nate wanted to fight each other a number of times since the year began, the company has refused to set up the bout repeatedly.
I Would like to request to be released from the @ufc @danawhite @hunter

Fed up of waiting around, Nate even asked the UFC brass to release him from the contract several times. But that also went in vain. Diaz apparently has only 1 fight left on his contract. It also appears that he will not sign a new deal with the UFC under any condition.
As for his final bout, there are multiple ways that UFC can go with this. They tried to put him up against Chimaev earlier. But, after the refusal from Nate’s camp, there haven’t been any recent developments on a new opponent. However, they can always revisit the rivalry between him and McGregor. Jorge Masvidal is also an option for him as there is unfinished business between the two.
