Trash talk has been a part of the game for as long as prizefighting has existed. As such, it is no surprise when Sean Strickland takes jabs at his opponent Israel Adesanya ahead of their middleweight title fight this weekend. UFC 293 has seen Strickland take his denigration of Adesanya into the stratosphere, as he criticized every part of the champion’s lifestyle and his questionable actions in the past.
Although this is acceptable in today’s fighting world, many fans are aware of Strickland’s proclivity to make disparaging comments about people and fighters he is in no way involved with. One such incident took place last year when Strickland went on an unprovoked tirade about Khabib Nurmagomedov’s s*x life.

These comments were targeted at Nurmagomedov’s wife, who ironically has also been the target of Conor McGregor’s verbal jabs in the past. Unfortunately, Strickland’s comments might be more offensive than McGregor’s. What did he say exactly? Let’s find out.
What did Sean Strickland Say about Khabib’s wife?
As mentioned earlier, Sean Strickland is prone to running his mouth to no limits, and this was evident when he took to social media to talk about Khabib Nurmagomedov and his wife. Strickland mentioned that he couldn’t picture ‘The Eagle’ having s*x, and further claimed that his wife most definitely fakes an orga*m.
“You guys every wonder how khabib has s*x??? F*ck guarantee she fakes it… Actually no I bet it’s completely silent and when he finishes he just walks away… lmao!!!” Posted Strickland on social media in 2022.

When fans reacted to his post, apparently showcasing their own curiosity about Khabib’s s*x life, Strickland took his antics one step further.
I’m sure you would.. Just don’t forget your burka, tear up your driver license and leave your freedom at the door lol https://t.co/KDCIsnwTrj

In his response to the fan’s comments, Strickland alluded to the socio-political difference between the West and Dagestan, where Nurmagomedov stays with his wife. McGregor, in the past, has also been guilty of something similar.
What did Conor McGregor say about Khabib’s wife?
After his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, Conor McGregor in no way tried to make amends with his opponent. In fact, he desperately sought a rematch with ‘The Eagle’. In his attempt to do so, McGregor quickly fell back on his old ways and tried to provoke the champion with his harsh words.
The twitter jabs continue as Conor McGregor brands Khabib’s wife a “towel” in relation to her religious clothing.
This comes after he releases a tyrant of compromising photos from his sparring session with Paulie Malignaggi.

In his questionable attempt, McGregor, in a now-deleted post, added an old photo of Khabib’s wedding and captioned it thus: “Your wife is a towel mate.” The Irish fighter was referring to the veil that entirely covered Nurmagomedov’s wife, Patimat Nurmagomedova’s face in the picture.
McGregor deleted the picture as soon as he posted it, perhaps fearing a backlash from the public. Retribution did knock at his door when Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, took to social media to reproach McGregor for his insensitive comments.
Were Conor McGregor’s comments worse than what Sean Strickland said about Khabib’s wife? What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments.
