Soon after news broke that Brock Lesnar is a free agent, fight fans were in frenzy with interesting match-up for the return of the Beast in the UFC octagon. Former Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones called out Brock Lesnar with UFC President expressing his interest in a potential showdown between two of the greats. Additionally, the current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic, who is fresh off a historic win against Daniel Cormier expressed his interest in facing Brock Lesnar in his UFC return and claimed that it would be an early night for him. However, there has been no official confirmation on the former heavyweight champion’s return to the UFC.

In a recent conversation with TMZ sports, Dana White updated fight fans about the Brock Lesnar situation, and it’s not something that we would have liked. White stated that he does not see Lesnar returning to the octagon, and feels that he has earned enough to not come back.

If we are to believe Lesnar’s good friend and WWE wrestler Kurt Angle, if there’s one fight that Lesnar wants, it is Jon Jones. However, according to Dana White, he has not heard anything from Lesnar and doesn’t see the fight coming into fruition.

“The guy has had a long killer career. He actually came in and became the UFC heavyweight champ. The guy has just made a lot of money. I just don’t see him coming back at this age.”
Earlier, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his thoughts on a potential dream match-up between Fedor Emelianenko and Brock Lesnar. Additionally, Alistair Overeem also expressed in facing the former Champion. Brock Lesnar created history when he beat Randy Couture to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar would go on to defend the championship belt against Shane Carwin and Frank Mir, before losing to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121.
Dana White also updated Jon Jones’ situation and revealed that he has not heard from the former light heavyweight Champion ever since he dropped the Championship belt to move to the heavyweight division. Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones is an exciting match-up and one that would bring in huge PPV numbers for the promotion. However, according to Dana White, he has heard nothing from both the fighters, and dream-match up remains “to be.”
