A person named Dylan Allman on Twitter has narrated the story of Randy Weaver and his family that took place in 1992 and blamed the government for the tragedy. Former UFC fighter Jake Shields also made his feeling known by replying to the tweet.

Dylan tweeted in detail about the 11-day siege on Ruby Ridge in 1992. He started by saying, “In 1992 a man that had no record of violence whatsoever was approached and entrapped by the feds illegally.
After he was sent the wrong court date and failed to show up, his innocent son, dog, and wife (while holding their infant daughter) were all slaughtered because of it.”
Randy Weaver, a former US Army member and a white separatist, resided at Ruby Ridge in Boundary County, Idaho. On August 21, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) had come to arrest Randy. He refused to surrender and stayed inside with his family and friend Kevin Harris.
Multiple deaths took place in the 11-day siege. Randy’s 14-year-old son Sammy was among them. Along with Sammy, Randy’s wife Vicki Jordison, Deputy U.S. Marshal W. F. Degan, and Randy’s dog Striker were killed.
The siege was ultimately resolved by civilian negotiators and Harris, Randy, and Randy’s daughters surrendered. Dylan stated in his tweet, “The moral of the story is, if the Government wants to kill you, they’ll find a way to do it. They are not your friend. They do not have your best interests at heart.”

Jake Shields replied to the whole tweet stating, “Truly evil.”
14-year-old Sammy had used a gun to defend himself at the time. Dylan, in his tweet, stated that he does not understand why people want to give the government more power and take away their right to keep guns.
Randy Weaver filed a civil suit against the federal government and won $3.1 million in an out-of-court settlement
Harris was acquitted of all charges after he was arraigned on a variety of federal criminal charges. Randy was acquitted of most of the charges. During the trial, Weaver’s attorney accused many federal agencies involved of criminal wrongdoings. These agencies included the FBI and the USMS.
“The Ruby Ridge siege in 1992 was a shootout between the FBI and Randy Weaver over his failure to appear in court on weapons charges. Weaver’s wife and son, as well as a US Marshal, died in the incident. The US Government payed over 3 million dollars in an out-of-court settlement…
