In light of his ongoing feud with Logan Paul and his fiancee, Dillon Danis has garnered a lot of attention. Whilst some people enjoy his content, there are others who have branded him as a bully. As it turns out, Logan’s fiancee is not the first victim of Dillon’s online bullying either.
Earlier this year, Dillon had a different target in Raul Rosas Jr., a newcomer in the UFC. For those unaware, Raul suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Pallister W Syndrome. As such, it has resulted in some unusual facial deformities in the fighter, along with significant speech problems. Despite these obstacles, the youngster fought his way into the UFC.
Previously, Raul made his debut at UFC 282, where he secured a 1st-round submission win over Jay Perrin. Thus, he became a talked-about figure in the MMA community. Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Dillon said that he was open to fighting anybody. Pointing to a picture in Ariel’s office, he said, “I’ll fight this kid too. Is this the kid that just fought, the 18-year-old right?”
As it turns out, the picture was not one of Raul but instead was of UFC strawweight fighter, Virna Jandiroba. In order to not break his own train of thought, Helwani simply agreed and continued what he was saying. At the time, many people were baffled that Danis was genuinely unable to distinguish between the two. Whilst it may have been an unintentional jab, it wasn’t the first or last time Dillon took aim at the youngster.
Dillon Danis has tried to ‘bully’ Raul Rosas Jr. in the past
Although many let Danis off the hook for his unintentional mistake, the Bellator fighter continued with his unruly swipes at the Mexican fighter. Following his win over Mando Gutierrez in the Contender Series, Raul broke many records. As such, many congratulated the youngster for becoming the youngest-ever fighter in the UFC. Unfortunately, Dillon was not too impressed by this feat.
Taking to Twitter or X, as it is now called, Dillon posted a mock-up video of Rosas Jr’s interview. Here, he made fun of the 18-year-old’s speech impediment, replacing what he said with gibberish instead. Naturally, Dillon’s joke did not sit well with many and fans slammed him for his behavior. Previously referred to as the laughingstock of the MMA community, people trolled ‘El Jefe’ for his middling career.

Raul Rosas Jr sucks… at least he can fall back on his lucrative modeling career now 🔥

According to many, Rosas had already made it to the UFC whilst Danis was ducking fights against YouTubers. Thereafter, ‘El Niño Problema’ suffered his first defeat in the UFC to Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287. Thus, Dillon once again took to social media to post about it. “Raul Rosas Jr sucks… at least he can fall back on his lucrative modeling career now.”
Once again, Dillon faced a lot of backlash for trying to bully an 18-year-old who in many people’s opinion, was already more accomplished than him. Although the tides have swayed in Dillon’s favor in recent times, it will be interesting to see who the people support after his fight against Logan Paul. With only a couple of weeks remaining to the fight, it’s time that Dillon walks the walk like he has talked the talk.
