UFC 293 is right around the corner, where the main event will be headlined by Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya and Sean Strickland. The Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Olympic Park Australia will play host to the second UFC event to be held in the country this year. The co-main event will see Australia’s own Tai Tuivasa take on Alexander Volkov from Russia.
The buildup to the event has mostly been centered around the animosity between Strickland and Adesanya. The middleweight champion is keen on putting a stop to the antics of the outspoken Strickland. Izzy will look to begin his second reign as UFC middleweight champion, with a successful title defense in front of the Australian crowd.

Initially, he was set to take on Dricus du Plessis of South Africa, who beat Robert Whittaker in spectacular fashion at UFC 290. Unfortunately for the fans, du Plessis had to pull out of this potential fight due to an injury.
In the co-main event, Tai Tuivasa will look to get back to winning ways against Volkov after losing his last fight against Sergei Pavlovich in December 2022. Ahead of this exciting event, let’s take a look at the walkout songs the fighters are likely to use for their fights.
Which walkout songs will Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland use at UFC 293?
Israel Adesanya has walked out to “Ruggedy Baba” by Ruggedman feat. 9ice during his fight with Paolo Costa at UFC 253. “The Undertaker theme” song was used by Adesanya at UFC 276, “Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park” was played at UFC 263, and “Hello Zepp + Overture” was blasted at UFC 281. In his most recent fight against Pereira at UFC 287, the middle-weight champion preferred “Where You Come From” by DJ Khaled, featuring Buju Banton. It is clear that the flamboyant fighter likes to change up his walkout songs, so it’s anyone’s guess what he’ll utilize this weekend.
Sean Strickland, on the other hand, has been known to walk out to “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” by Megaraptor on several occasions.
Which walkout songs will Tai Tuivasa and Alexander Volkov use at UFC 293?
Tai Tuivasa, like the champion Adesanya, has been known to use several songs during his walkout throughout his career. “Bam Bam” chose “A Thousand Miles” by Rashad Coulter in his debut against Rashad Coulter at UFC Fight Night 121. “The Horses” by Daryl Braithwaite was played at UFC 221 during his walkout for the Cyril Asker fight. “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion was played at UFC 225 against Andrei Arlovski. Therefore, it is anyone’s guess what Bam Bam will choose for UFC 293.
His opponent has been known to stick to “Mama Mi Vse Tiagelo Bolni” by 25/17 for his walkout. He will probably use the same for UFC 293. Who are you rooting for this weekend?
