Tennis world No. 1 Novak Djokovic was at the Dignity Health Sports Park stadium in Los Angeles recently. Along with his son Stefan, Novak got to witness Lionel Messi’s magic as Inter Miami took on the LA Galaxy. It was a star-studded affair, and many were pleased to see Djokovic among them in the crowd.
Novak is currently in the US to play in the Sunshine Doubles. He was last seen at the Australian Open, where Jannik Sinner knocked him out in the semifinals. Djokovic will kick off his campaign with the Indian Wells, eyeing a record sixth title.
Novak and Stefan were decked out in green Lacoste jackets, and he was all smiles as he posed for photos. USWNT stars Tobin Heath and Christen Press asked for photos with Novak, who obliged the soccer stars.

Stefan was very attentive to the game as Novak conversed with Vlade Divac, the former NBA star and the current manager of the Sacramento Kings. The duo even met with the goalscorer for the LA Galaxy, Dejan Joveljic, in the locker room after the match.

Soccer legend David Beckham was also present at the stadium last night. Hollywood stars Halle Berry and Hilary Duff also graced the Dignity Health Sports Park.
Novak Djokovic got to witness incredible soccer action as Lionel Messi thwarted the LA Galaxy’s attempt at victory. The two players are legends in their respective fields and have immense respect for each other. Djokovic met Messi ahead of the US Open in 2023 and even hailed him as a “great champion.”

Messi has quickly become the face of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States. The Argentine star draws a crowd like no other, and this time even Novak was in attendance.
The LA Galaxy are still on the hunt for their first win of the 2024 MLS season. They came close, but Messi dashed their dreams. Joveljic, the Serbian soccer player, put the LA Galaxy ahead with a goal in the 75th minute. The side sniffed victory as the match went into extra time.

However, Lionel Messi came in clutch as he paired up with his ex-Barcelona teammate, Jordi Alba. Messi netted a goal in the closing minutes of the match, bailing out a point for his team.
Messi has been enjoying his run at the MLS so far and will try to guide them to the trophy this season. As for Novak Djokovic, he is on the hunt for his 41st Masters title.
