Paula Badosa has not been able to play consecutive matches this year due to her injury. She has only played 27 matches so far but has also spent time with her boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas. The couple have often spoken about how they have helped each other in their personal lives. Badosa did not spare a journalist who was not clear on Tsitsipas showing affection for his girlfriend.
Tsitsipas had spoken about being addicted to becoming the best player and finding balance in life. The world No.5 also said that Badosa has helped him balance his professional and personal life. The journalist did not take it in a positive sense, which angered Badosa, who said, ” Always misinterpreting words. It makes me a little tired that you always have to judge and find blame.” The Spaniard was not happy with the interpretation.

Gracias 2/2.

There has been no response from Tsitsipas regarding the matter. He has been having a tough time on tour, especially in the last three months. While Badosa is recovering from a back injury, Tsitsipas has been waiting to make a solid return to the tour. Both players have been supporting each other during the tough times as Tsitsipas has also been changing his coaching team.
Stefanos Tsitsipas explains why his father is going to stay as his coach
In the past two years, there have been changes made in the Tsitsipas squad. Mark Philippoussis was brought in as the coach last year but stepped away in May this season. After a string of losses in the past three months and an early exit at the US Open, there were changes made on the coaching side. Tsitsipas brought back his father, Apostolos Tsitsipas. The father-son duo had been facing differences of opinion in the past.
Tsitsipas had earlier wanted his dad to take a break from the tour. Apostolos had been training his son since the beginning of his career but was removed as coach from the second half of this season. But after the US Open, Apostolos is back to training his son to manage his return to the tour. The two-time grand slam runner said that he has been training hard with the team and with his father to get to the next level.
It is not flesh and blood, but heart which makes us fathers and sons. pic.twitter.com/tg7I8Hqbia

Tsitsipas had last played at the Davis Cup and later withdrew from the Laver Cup due to an injury. Tsitsipas will now rest and try to improve his winning percentage in the second half of this season. He will need to hold his rankings in place to qualify for the Nitto ATP finals, as Tsitsipas is currently placed sixth in terms of points. The Greek player now has his father by his side to help him regain his form for the last few matches this year.
