Novak Djokovic has undoubtedly missed the tour in the past few weeks. He has been using his time to have fun with the crowd in Paris. Djokovic had started his Paris Masters preparation by practicing with Carlos Alcaraz and even dancing with Gael Monfils before the main draw matches. The Serbian continued his friendly interactions with the crowd after winning his opening singles match.
Djokovic defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the second round of the Paris Masters. Djokovic was then seen flexing his muscles to the crowd and even blew his thumb while rocking his biceps. “The thumb suck lol,” commented a fan after watching the video. The 36-year-old is one of the fittest players on tour and is known for following a strict gluten-free diet program for many years.
@sympathy_simm the thumb suck lol.

Djokovic was playing doubles at the Paris Masters with Miomir Kecmanovic. The pair had won their first match but had to issue a walkover because Kecmanovic suffered from a wrist injury. Kecmanovic had lost his opening match in singles against Etcheverry. Meanwhile, Djokovic continues his successful return to the tour at the Paris Masters.
Novak Djokovic chasing multiple records at Paris Masters
The Paris Masters this season has seen players trying their best to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals. While only two spots are remaining, the qualified players shift their focus to breaking records at the event. Djokovic is only four wins away from completing 50 wins in Paris. He is already the most successful player at the event, with 46 wins.
The world No.1 also aims for a record seventh title at the event. He had last won in Paris in 2021 while beating Daniil Medvedev in the final. Djokovic remains the only player to defend his title at the Paris Masters and has won three consecutive titles from 2013-2015. The Serbian has reached the finals in his last four appearances in Paris.

Djokovic looks to be the favorite in Paris, as Alcaraz suffered an early exit. Medvedev is also out of the event along with Jannik Sinner. The 24-time grand slam champion is expected to face Holger Rune in the quarterfinals, a rematch of last year’s final. Djokovic will be eager to take revenge, while Rune will aim to keep his hopes alive for Turin.
