- Taylor Fritz has seemingly dropped his Nike partnership.
Taylor Fritz has been known for his consistency on the ATP tour. He does not take much rest during the tour and sticks to his hectic routine each year. Fritz had been associated with Nike since his arrival on the professional tour. Recently, however, there was a sudden change in his attire as fans saw him with a different company for the first time in his career.
Fritz was playing with a Head racket as usual, with speculations of a change arising since his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, signed a deal with Wilson. But the change was seen in his clothing during the practice for Indian Wells. Fritz was wearing a black kit from BOSS. The American had been with Nike since 2021, and it is unclear why the partnership had ended.

There was only a change made in the apparel for Fritz. His girlfriend, Riddle, was criticized for choosing to sign a deal with Wilson instead of Head, which Fritz has partnered with. She is known for her fashion statements and has become a popular name in the sport. Riddle will be present in Indian Wells this time to support her boyfriend on the court.
Taylor Fritz is preparing to come out on top at Indian Wells
Fritz will be playing with a new look at Indian Wells this time. His latest deal with BOSS will give him the confidence to play his best in front of the home crowd. The world No.12 will be playing at Indian Wells for the eighth time. Fritz has been reaching at least the quarterfinals of the event in each edition since 2021. He won the title in 2022 while defeating Rafael Nadal in the final.
The 26-year-old has won one title so far this season. Fritz lifted the trophy at Delray Beach without conceding a set. He had lost in the quarterfinal stage in 2023 to Jannik Sinner in three sets. Fritz was last seen playing at Acapulco, where he surprisingly lost in the opening round. Meanwhile, at Indian Wells, he will play his opening match against Pavel Kotov or Alejandro Tabilo.

Fritz will start his campaign at Indian Wells on 9 March. He will not be playing doubles in the event, unlike last season, where he paired up with Tommy Paul and lost in the opening round. Fritz’s focus will be on being in good form and continuing his winning streak at the event. He will be cheered by Riddle in the stands as she will hope to spend the whole week at Indian Wells this time.
