It seems like Hasbulla Magomedov isn’t the biggest fan of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. The 20-year-old star, who became an internet sensation overnight, has amassed a huge fan following. Hasbullah hails from the same region, Dagestan, as the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, in addition to having no relation to Khabib, Hasbulla also doesn’t share Khabib’s affinity towards Ronaldo.
Khabib and Ronaldo share a warm relationship, having met each other on a few occasions. According to reports, Khabib rates Cristiano Ronaldo over his arch-rival, Lionel Messi. Khabib said, “Well, Messi plays very well, too. He is one of the best players ever. I think they are on the same level skill-wise, but Cristiano has more charisma.” However, Hasbulla, often called “mini Khabib,” doesn’t care much about the Al-Nassr star.

During an interview, Hasbulla was asked whether he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo is good at soccer. Rather surprisingly, he replied, “I am not interested in Ronaldo. I am not mad, but I just don’t care about him.” Moreover, as per reports from MARCA, the 20-year-old once totally belittled Ronaldo by stating that he was more famous than the former Manchester United star.
The TikTok sensation also criticized Ronaldo’s style of play and even went to the extent of saying that Ronaldo just “passes the ball.” While talking about the GOAT debate in soccer, Hasbulla seems to have already made up his mind.
Hasbulla’s favorite soccer player
While Khabib Nurmagomedov prefers Cristiano Ronaldo, Hasbulla has sworn his allegiance to Lionel Messi. In addition to his sharp comments about Ronaldo during an interview, he was also seen wearing Messi‘s Argentina jersey during his visit to the South American nation recently.

The young Russian was also seen religiously supporting Lionel Messi during Argentina’s historic World Cup-winning campaign in Qatar last year. In addition to this, there have been reports that both Messi and Hasbulla have suffered from Growth Hormone Deficiency. Despite being 20 years old, Hasbulla has a small physical stature.
However, while Messi’s condition was diagnosed at an early age and he received treatment for it, Hasbulla has never addressed his medical condition. Although, both Messi and Hasbulla have managed to overcome this disorder to become successful in their respective careers.
