Ronaldo, who arrived with his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., was spotted sitting beside the former UFC champion Conor McGregor. Although initially, the fans sensed some awkwardness between the two, Ronaldo and McGregor were later spotted having a good time.

He also added the caption, “Best caption wins!” The post has gone viral on the Internet and has amassed almost 10 million likes and thousands of comments. And among the thousands of comments was also the comment of Piers Morgan. The British journalist wrote on Ronaldo’s post, “Remember when Ten Hag said I was the problem at United.”

Morgan‘s comment was a dig at how Erik ten Hag blamed Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United’s poor performances. The United coach played a huge role in Ronaldo’s departure from the club in 2022 after being at odds with him for a long time. Nevertheless, it’s fair to say that despite Ronaldo’s departure, United’s problems haven’t ended.

As per reports, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has decided that he wouldn’t rush into any decision about Erik ten Hag. The British businessman has considered keeping the former Ajax coach at the club till the season ends. However, Ten Hag needs to show some quick results if he wants to save his job. Currently, Ten Hag needs a Hail Mary as Manchester United are out of all European competitions and are currently eighth in the Premier League.
