Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are back to being the media darlings in England since the release of their Netflix documentary, titled Beckham. The documentary explored various controversial incidents during the playing career of David Beckham. One such incident points out the disgusting behavior of the fans of Manchester United, who made a chant about the s*x life of the couple.
In one of the episodes of the documentary, David and Victoria Beckham talk about their time in Manchester. Victoria discussed how she wasn’t always welcomed in Old Trafford by Sir Alex Ferguson due to added media coverage on her. She felt that the presence of her in Old Trafford was a distraction to David Beckham in the eyes of Sir Alex Ferguson.

She elaborated further by talking about the disgusting chant about her that was sung throughout every stadium wherever David Beckham played at Manchester United. The chant was part of the targeted abuse from English fans who were angry with David Beckham for his red card incident in the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
Victoria commented on the chant in the documentary: “Posh Spice takes it up the a**e! Excuse my language, not very lady-like. 75,000 people were singing that. It’s embarrassing, it’s hurtful. I remember sitting down and the lady next to me turned and she didn’t know what to say, she said “Do you want a polo?”
The chant served as motivation for David Beckham, meanwhile, for Victoria, it was a horror show. The chants, the treatment of the media, and Sir Alex Ferguson were all contributing factors to David Beckham moving away from Manchester United in 2003.

The documentary has been well-received by fans and experts. It has helped fans to look behind the curtain at the crazy lives of the power couple. One incident from the documentary raised some eyebrows when Victoria Beckham reacted to the time when her husband missed the birth of his son for a photoshoot.
The incident was a big controversy for the couple, who were struggling due to the alleged affair between David Beckham and Rebecca Loos. Victoria talked about the incident in the documentary when she was in labor with her third son, Cruz, back in 2005. The report pointed to the fact that David was away for a photoshoot while his wife was in labor. The headline for the report read “What would Posh say“? Victoria went on to reply candidly: “Let me tell you what Posh would say: Posh was p***ed off!”
The candid reply from Victoria Beckham was loved by her fans. The incident was a big controversy at the time and was covered by every major outlet. The latest documentary helped add an extra layer and narrative to the famous incident.
