SUMMARY
- The much-awaited match concluded with Manchester City triumphing over Fluminense by a commanding 4-0 score.
- Melo is said to have shoved Walker, which prompted the Manchester City defender to react quickly.
Unexpectedly, after the FIFA Club World Cup final, Felipe Melo of Fluminense and Kyle Walker of Manchester City got into a violent brawl. The much-awaited match concluded with Manchester City triumphing over Fluminense by a commanding 4-0 score. But instead of being a celebration of soccer, it descended into a furious altercation between two players.
However, Melo claimed this fight initially took place because Manchester City’s soccer star Jack Grealish chanted the word ‘ole’. In terms of soccer it can be used to criticize the opposition when one’s own side performs brilliantly or when someone fails to accomplish their goal, or it can be yelled at by the crowd in support of a team or individual who puts up an outstanding performance.

Felipo Melo said, “In the game against Gremio, I calmly went to ask the athlete celebrating with their fans. And they ended up creating a mess. And I didn’t want a mess. Today Grealish was disrespectful towards the Fluminense institution and I will never let that happen,” regarding the incident that occurred between him and Kyle Walker.
A few moments after the last whistle blew, the incident happened. Melo is said to have shoved Walker, which prompted the Manchester City defender to react quickly. The two players then engaged in a full-fledged physical altercation as a result of the push.
Jack Grealish denies uttering ‘Ole’ after Manchester City’s 4-0 win
Due to his frequent involvement in contentious interactions with other players and occasionally even with fans, Melo may be a divisive figure in world soccer. To be fair, Grealish’s defense of his team makes sense if he had made fun of the Fluminense players. The Manchester City player, however, denied calling the opposition ‘ole‘.
Luckily, the other players on the pitch swiftly intervened to stop the situation from getting worse. It’s time to move on for both teams. After a demanding season, Fluminense will receive a well-earned break, and City will start their Premier League campaign.
Not once did I say ole https://t.co/wguT4ZFwc6

Manchester City well and truly created history on the pitch by winning the FIFA Club World Cup for the first-ever time in the history of their club. This will mean a lot to their fans and also send a statement to all the rival clubs and their fans in the sport. Pep Guardiola has praised the commitment of his players to show up for each and every competition for the club.
It remains to be seen now how Manchester City and their players perform in the remainder of the 2023-24 English Premier League season, as they have not been up to the mark so far this season. They currently sit in 4th place in the table and have a lot of work to do if they were to achieve any glory this season in the league.
