Gareth Bale has made an astonishing revelation about Cristiano Ronaldo that has left the soccer world stunned. Bale and Ronaldo shared the dressing room during their time at Real Madrid. The two former Real Madrid forwards, along with Karim Benzema, led the Spanish giants to multiple titles. The Real Madrid trio played an important part in the club’s historic Champions League three-peat.
In a recent video posted by @PassedToMessi, Gareth Bale exposed Cristiano Ronaldo’s selfish behavior. The former Real Madrid star was seen being interviewed while walking on a golf course. He says, “He (Ronaldo) was actually okay. He had his moments where, for example, if we win five nil and he didn’t score, he comes in and throws his boots like he was angry.“

Bale continues, “It’s like your team winning the Ryder Cup and you didn’t get a point so you are angry.” The former Welsh international was also asked whether Ronaldo used to thank his teammates after winning the Ballon d’Or awards. To which, Bale replies, “I think he did,” before bursting out in laughter. However, Bale did admire his former teammate’s mentality.
He said, “He was a nice guy, we didn’t really have any problems, and he has a good mentality.” Over the past few days, Bale has incurred the wrath of Cristiano Ronaldo over his preference for Lionel Messi. In a recent interview, Gareth Bale was asked about his favorite player to have ever won the Champions League. Despite winning the iconic trophy with the Al-Nassr star on four occasions, Bale snubbed Ronaldo and instead chose Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t friends with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema
Real Madrid‘s forward line of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema used to terrorize the goalkeepers in Europe for a long time. The iconic ‘BBC’ trio played 658 games together and won 427 of them. The trio also scored 442 goals and registered 243 assists during a period in which they won 12 trophies. However, despite being such an iconic trio, the relationship between the three stars was often questioned.

The ‘BBC’ trio was often compared to the historic ‘MSN’ trio of FC Barcelona featuring Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr. Unlike the ‘BBC’, the ‘MSN’ shared a great relationship and their camaraderie was often visible on the pitch. This led to several Spanish reporters comparing the ‘BBC’ and the ‘MSN’. However, when Cristiano Ronaldo was asked about this, he gave a rather cold answer.
Journalist: “Is it true your relationship with Bale and Benzema is not as good as Messi with Suarez and Neymar?”

Ronaldo said, “Dinners, hugs, and kisses, these things don’t matter to me. What matters is winning on the pitch.” Ronaldo further stated that he also shared a similar relationship with his former Manchester United teammates like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Rio Ferdinand. He also clarified that while their conversation was limited to just formal greetings, they shared a great understanding while playing.
