Impressive start of Ferran Torres in the new season
Meanwhile, on the pitch, Ferran Torres has made an incredible start to the new season. In 2023/24, the Spanish forward made 10 appearances for FC Barcelona in all competitions, scoring four goals in only 444 minutes of action.
Torres is already halfway through his tally of last season, where he scored only seven goals in 45 appearances in all competitions. The Spanish forward has been working hard behind the scenes and has reinstated himself as one of the main players in the attacking lineup of the side.

He has been used on the wings as well as the main striker on different occasions, providing Xavi with much-needed depth due to ongoing injury crises at the club. Robert Lewandowski was recently injured in the UEFA Champions League match against Porto and is set to miss the upcoming El Clasico.
This would be a great opportunity for Ferran Torres to cement his position in the starting lineup with a powerful showing against the league leaders, Real Madrid.
At present, Torres is with the Spain National team for the international break, where he is set to feature against Scotland and Norway in the qualification matches for UEFA Euro 2024.
