According to a report by ‘talkSPORT’ the 32-year-old hinted towards his return to playing action. The report states that during an interview with SkySports, KDB reflected on the recovery after his recent injury. The veteran reportedly stated – “it’s going well, getting along”. The player, however, asserted that he will “still” need some more time to fully get fit.
The midfielder further expressed – “Hopefully I’ll be back something close after the New Year”, “if everything goes well”, he reportedly asserted. The Belgian international earlier suffered a hamstring blow during one of City’s Premier League clash against Burnley.
With the midfielder himself pressing towards his steady recovery and a hopeful imminent return to the playing action, Manchester City fans would be delighted with the news.
