Endrick has surpassed Neymar Jr. who had scored 10 goals in 30 games before turning 18, while Endrick scored his 11th goal in a draw against Cruzeiro in a 1-1 draw. The 17-year-old is now only behind Ronaldo Nazario who has 12 goals to his name. With that draw, Palmeiras has clinched its second Brazilian League title in a row.
Endrick has played a huge part in Palmeiras’ success this season. The 17-year-old has scored 6 goals in his last 8 for the 12-time Brazilian Champions.
The past few months have been very exciting for Endrick as he became the fourth youngest player to ever play for the Brazil National Football Team. The Madrid-bound player is the youngest to debut and score for his club. The forward is also the only player in Palmeiras’ history to win a trophy at every age level.
Real Madrid excited by the arrival of Endrick in 2024
Real Madrid’s far-sightedness has finally paid off. Los Blancos invested heavily in the Brazilian forward as he was one of the hottest talents in Brazil in 2022. The 14-time Champions League winners paid $63 million for Endrick to Palmeiras.

Endrick was 16 at that time, and this meant that he had to wait until 2024, to wear the iconic white jersey of Real Madrid. FIFA regulations do not allow players under the age of 18 to move to different countries. Yet, the prospect of Endrick’s arrival in La Liga has made Madrid fans lively.
The most lively person in Madrid’s capital is none other than Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti. Speaking in a news conference(via ESPN) on December 1, 2023, the Italian said, “We are delighted with how he’s playing,” Ancelotti said of 17-year-old Endrick in Friday’s news conference. “His progression is fast. We are looking forward to see him with us next season.”
The stage is set for Endrick to showcase his talent on the world stage. If the Brazilian keeps his head down and works on improving his soccer, Endrick can surely enter the Real Madrid Hall of Fame, one day.
