Hiba Abouk, a Spanish actress, has opened up about the divorce proceedings with her ex-partner Achraf Hakimi. The Paris Saint-Germain man has been in the news lately because of how he evaded sharing half of his assets with Abouk. The actress was allegedly on the lookout for half of Hakimi’s properties as a settlement for divorce. However, it was found later that Hakimi does not own any property. All his property is under his mother’s name.

Abouk opened up to Elle Magazine about her humble beginnings. She explained how she has always been a fighter and has no attachment to material things.
“I was sharing a two-square-meter room,” she explained. “I’ve always been a fighter. I have no attachment to material things.”
In fact, she says that she is “a self-made woman” after leaving home at the age of almost 18.
“I left home with one hand in front of me and one behind me. Without the support of my family,” she added.
“But I had to do it because my environment was not going to allow me to grow up or be free. It was either my life or theirs, and I decided to fight for myself.”
Born on October 30, 1986, Abouk is 12 years older than Hakimi. Born in the capital of Spain, Madrid, she is famous for her role of Fátima in El Príncipe. She studied at a French international school in Madrid till the age of 18 and later went on to earn a degree from a drama school to begin her acting career.

In her interview with Elle Magazine, Abouk dived deep into what she was feeling because of the much-talked-about divorce. She explained how a breakup can change your life.
“There are days when I’m fine and others when you have to know how to deal with the blows and make decisions that are sometimes complicated,” Abouk said.
“That can throw you off balance a little. When you break up, you restructure your life. Although, it is nothing major and you have to take the edge off the situation.”
However, Abouk went on to explain how she has no regrets for what she did and she is satisfied with her decision to divorce Hakimi.
“The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and done everything I could,” she confirmed.
“There are decisions that cannot be taken overnight. For me, it is a principle not to rush into things in times of crisis. Things have to be done calmly and with love.”
The actor also opened up about the importance of mental health. She said that she had been seeing a psychologist regularly for the past few years.
