The 25-year-old soccer star further admitted that America’s laid-back culture is what interests him even more in exploring it. Lastly, Alexander-Arnold admitted that he wished to spend some time in the United States. He revealed that due to his popularity in Europe, it would be easier for him to travel around more without getting recognized.
Could Trent Alexander-Arnold have played for the USMNT?
In the meantime, there was also the possibility that Trent Alexander-Arnold could have represented the USMNT instead of England. Having played for England’s youth teams since 2013, Alexander-Arnold made his debut for England’s first team in 2018. Unfortunately, he missed the UEFA Euros 2020 due to an injury when England finished as runners-up. However, he’s yet to win a major international title with his country.
